Why not just use the built in one?

Set your phone or tablet up on the same network as your MSFS computer. Hit the home button on the EFB in the airplane, and click Use External Device. Follow the directions. Boom! Done. Free.

That's EFB not CDU.

I have worked out a panel needs to be created, so I used the blank default.  I imported the CDU instrument, but I can't work out how to get it on the panel!  When I click 'add instrument', I don't see the CDU in the list.

You need to download the Cdu from Simstrumentation, it is a .siff file.

Then import this file to Air manager it should be in the instruments list after that.

IMHO with €65 / license per computer  AirManager seems a little bit overpriced. Anyway: thanks to the OP for the heads-up. 👍

I am loathe to run yet one more program and hope that Fenix will bring us an iP MCDU like they have done with the EFB. It is simply BRILLIANT. I have been told they are discussing it without any promises made… cross your fingers… I am!
