Just would like to hear people's experiences with MK Studios products since they are running a sale right now.

I own their EFHK and unfortunately can't say at all that I've been very impressed with it. Poor texturing and simple geometrics all over the place while still somehow quite taxiing on the fps. Yet some of their other airports look a lot nicer (at least in the screenshots).

Is EFHK just below their usual standards or should I expect similar quality from their other sceneries?

They are medium quality, the only reason I have some of their sceneries is that they do remote, interesting airports that other devs don't do. (for example, Faroe islands)

But yes, they're average.

Unless something's changed recently, mant people, including myself, experience CTDs when flying into their EIDW, although I believe that it's not everyone.

For me, this currently renders EIDW unusable.

Was thinking about buying LPPT (Lisbon) and LPPR (Porto). Does anyone know about the quality? When I look at screenshots it looks to me that the tropicalSim porto airport looks better, but cannot judge, cause small resolution screenshots.

TropicalSim is absolutely NOT better. They are to be avoided in MSFS.
As for MK Studios I'd say their quality is medium to good, not as good as it was in P3D, but still better than average. It might be that they just check all my boxes in regards to what's important in scenery, but I do like their airports and buy them all (on sale). I'd say the quality is constant and without any glaring deficiencies. I'd certainly like them to do better, LIRF was pretty average, but as others said, you likely will not ever see anybody "better" do the airports they do, so since these are quite important airports (Lisbon, Rome, Porto, Fuerteventura etc.) I'd say get them on sale.

I feel MK are one of the best scenery developers...

 

No crashes or instability at Dublin either..

I don‘t know about TropicalSim but I‘m quite happy with these two airports. They‘re not top-notch in terms of quality but they‘re okay. If you like flying there I‘d give it a go. 

I‘m thinking about getting the Faroe airport. Does anybody know if it‘s any good?

I would be interested in Dublin either, however, the screenshots don't convince me. I used to fly with the Aerosoft Dublin and enjoyed that highly. One of my favourite airport back then in FSX. If I compare MK Studios vs. Aerosoft, the MK one feel like it wouldn't make me happy, though I don't believe that someone else might take Dublin as a next project.

Unfortunately Rome is not on sale. Although, it would need to be a very substantial discount for me to purchase from the Marketplace.

They go on sale very often on ORBX and/or Simmarket, like almost once a month. You won't have to wait for very long.

Yep, I was disappointed that Orbx didn’t have a Memorial Day sale. Should be soon though.

I have EIDW, LPPT and LPPR. I never noticed that the quality was subpar. In fact Dublin is one of my favorite airports. Great routes from there to Heathrow, Edinburg, Brussels etc. Luckily I don’t have the CTD issues.
