I just release my P-8 by request from @raymar.  Of course its actually a 737-700 dressed up to look like a P-8, but that's what I have to work with. 🙂 

It was interesting paint, and I initially was not that excited to paint her...but as usual...when you spend some time painting any livery, you become somewhat attached.   The more detail I added to this one, the more I liked it and wanted to add more...there are TONS of customiztions on this paint nobody would notice is actually custom, unless you've painted the PMDG MSFS 737. 🙂 

There is a "decal" map that allows for highly crisp tiny text on the plane, but sadly painters can't alter the position..but you can "customize" it to block out things you don't want if the position, lets say, of the danger placards on the engine are in the wrong place on your particular paint.  Lets just say I did a LOT of work to use the decal while still managing to get the placement right where I could.

Anyway. all the markings on her are 100% accurate, and Military guys will appreciate some of the stuff you see that most will miss....it was very rewarding to paint this one with this level of accuracy. 🙂

Thanks!   Sadly I'm pretty sure PMDG won't create a P-8 model based on previous notes from them....but I still enjoy the paint scheme....I'll put these textures on the -800 when she releases so at least the length will be correct. 🙂

Thanks for pointing out.... I forgot...the P-8 is a derivative of the -800ERX, so, if PMDG creates a model of it, it will have to match the RW model in all aspects...🙂...though the -800 will be a little closer than the -700, for sure...
