If only 6 of the 50 states in the U.S. of A had been given a World Update, then you could make a case for complaint. Actually if you look at what was changed in WU2 maps, depending on which states you pick, it may be close to 6 States updated, almost nothing in the Northern Half of the country as far as updated imagery and almost nothing west of the Mississippi for elevation (It appears that the majority of the elevation fixes were related to low lying flat areas not mountainous regions). https://www.flightsimulator.com/release-notes-1-11-5-0/ ________________________________________________________________________________ Jeremy 9800X3D OC'd -30 +200MHZ | 64GB CL30 RAM | RTX 5080 | Windows 11 23H2| Bravo Throttle | Alpha Yoke | CH Pedals | Logitech Radio Panel | SmoothTrack | AAO

June 16, 20223 yr All I want to know is: When is Full DX12 implementation coming? My game has been stuttering like crazy lately... Chris Camp

But with other games with working DX12 i do not see mutch difference performance wise and that was said from Asobo aswell.. But maybe using all cores in different ways should have some benefits. Hopefully 🤔 cheers 😉 It made a World of difference for those of us who were using P3d. When version 5.x was released with DX 12 code many of us picked up at the minimum 15% to 25% increase in FPS, not to mention the enhanced visuals that came with it. So, will DX12 do the same for MSFS? Don’t know. What we do know is that MSFS was always designed to use maximum cores, while in P3d it was an evolution. It will be interesting at the least. -B

June 16, 20223 yr Right now DX12 is in some kind of trial state I think 🤔 Do we have confirmation DX12 will come in a “stable and usable” form with SU10? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Not going to debate which sim is better blah blah but I will say xplane 11 with vulkan, when first introduced, was the smoothest flight sim I’ve ever used, before and since. It was so smooth, you actually believed you were flying. Really immersive. If MSFS can do that with DX12 implemented properly, then we’ll be laughing!
