Was hoping for London. Goodness knows it needs it.

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

City update would make sense as it would allow them to update all the new Bing Maps cities regardless of where they are, so they didn‘t have to wait for a respective world update.

i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

Yeah, maybe next time post a source instead of just saying it.

Well Jorg said in the Q&A it was connected to Gamescom, so that wouldn't have made sense.

He said a bunch of German cities, not just Cologne.

Missed the Q&A but he mentioned that London needed revisiting a long time ago, to a chorus of approval. Maybe after Germany has been rebuilt.

Jorg doesn't specify in the video, but I'd assume so. I think Cologne already has photogrammetry, so maybe it's updated photogrammetry?

The full announcement comes tomorrow.

I do not really know what to think about photogrammetry. I see some screenshots/videos that look really good, and then I see others with half formed buildings, weird looking trees, and bridges/overpasses that have solid undersides.

It all depends on the dataset. Even Google has those issues in some cities. It's created by a camera overhead taking tones of images and such, so some sides of areas will always look terrible if it's at an angle the camera can't capture.

Photogrammetry will never look amazing unless they start sending drones to fly down individual streets to take imagery.

Ah Cologne doesn't have Photogrammetry in MSFS yet. It does on the Windows Maps app, so it's probably that data.

Didn't they once say they had a team dedicated to sprucing up PG cities?
