Is the coloring optional? Personally I find the late autumn shots posted earlier to brownish. Like I said before, where I live grass stays green during fall and winter. If the autumn coloring turns the Netherlands into a brownish landscape I'd rather turn it of. I like the October shot though! Is that early, mid or late fall?

Hi Rimshot. The coloring is optional and you should be able to apply different terrain coloring so if you find the coloring too dark you can change it to a lighter shade and if you find it too light, you can change it to a darker shade. Or you could choose to not apply any coloring. Thanks.

@MikeT707 thanks, I use Rex ( from 2014 soft clouds ) and can't wait to implement this. was also using Bijan mask, but that was giving problems and fps loss. so curious how you did this. pictures look outstanding!!

Excellent pictures! I take it that's with Weather Force 🙂 The cloudscape looks different than default. In a good way.

Here are some screenshots from Cincinnati Municipal Airport/Lunken Field (KLUK) that show the changes in coloring during autumn and include Default, Early Autumn, Mid-Autumn, and Late Autumn (by the way, I kept the trees the same so you can see the changes in the terrain coloring):

Oh lord. I'll eat crow thinking it couldn't be done right and default was good enough.

You guys out did yourself. It's still green but just colored different enough to not be dramatic but fit the purpose. Well done!

Deleted. My sarcasm radar is clearly not working.

Not at all. I adore this product and the subtle terrain shading looks darn good in my opinion.

Ahh you didn't have to delete your other post. You're good. It's AVSIM it can be snarky at times here and it's sometimes hard to tell who's being truthful and who's throwing shade.

Hi Cpt_Piett. Thanks for the kind words and you are correct, the cloudscape is different than default in a good way. For those who wanted to see the weekly color changes to vegetation along with Terrain Coloring, here is a video we just posted:

Amazing. Well done.

Intel Core i9 13900K, NVidia RTX 4090 FE, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB@6000MHz, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe M2, Asus OLED PG42 UQ

Had no clue I could register this with RexAxis and basically eliminate Orbx from the mix if I needed to. Finding the serial number location from the Orbx purchase was a choir amongst itself but once I did the RexAxis registration was simple and headache free.

After using this for a week or so now, I have to say it is a 9/10 for me. Once they release an update with the snow removed from roads etc then it will be 10/10. And I used to use Bijan, which at its peak was really good too, this is just way easier to use.

@MikeT707 Just purchased. Looks good! My wife even said how great it looks!. Finally got my fall colors flight in the log book under absolute excellent smooth conditions! I will see how close I can get AccuSeason to my real world video. GoPro image here October 23/22 over Southern Ontario

I’m surprised that there are people who realize the incredible capabilities of REX Accuseason. From the beginning we knew it was a great product.
