Why had you turned it off? I used it all the time without problems, although it might have given an occasional stutter I now know.. 🙂

I read on their Discord that it was not optimized for the beta.

Anyting i need to do to install the update? My REX build number is still 6.1.2022.0614 and it tells me there are no new versions.

That is the new version that mine updated to.  I reinstalled a new theme anyway just in case.  I am not quite ready for Autumn yet, so I have gone for Summer - Muggy Weather, as the colours are not too vibrant.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Hi Soulflight. No need to update anything as the updates are done behind the scenes so as soon as you load up AccuSeason, the updates are applied. We wanted to make sure to make it as easy for the user as possible.

I wanted to know if REX also did the coloring of the terrain? Because brown trees on a completely green ground is not very beautiful, am I wrong ?

Here in Eastern Canada we get all the leaves colored and eventually off the trees, and even with a first snow, and beyond,  the grass is totally green unless there was a drought where they turn brown, but that is not common. That's city grass, but field grass will discolor in the fall.

6.1.2022.0614

From what I understand the update to SU10 compatibility happened on their side. IE: nothing for the user to download.

Hi peppy and Twenty6. Twenty6 is correct, the latest version is 6.1.2022.0614. The changes that took place happened behind the scenes, so the next time you apply a preset or the automated dynamic seasons task runs, the new content would be there. In fact, this occurred a few days ago, so if you have applied a preset or your automated dynamic seasons task ran since last Friday, then you are all set.

To add to this. I highly encourage using the automation in AccuSeason. I've had it enabled since release and it has been cool to see the gradual shift of the seasons in game without lifting a finger to do anything.

I agree! This is one of the biggest advantages of using AccuSeason. I'm looking forward to see the colour of the trees gradually change in the coming weeks 🙂

I am not sure why this happened but I will relate here.

I use the ORBX version of REX Seasons. There was no update from ORBX.

When I launch AccuSeasons then I got a message to update, so I did and went through the install pointing at my custom community folder.

The seasons seem to work fine after the update. But I get a big drop in FPS from 30+ down to 22-24 running accuseason.

So I did the restore from the main panel in accuseasons, and sure enough the frames came back up to 30+.

Do I have to wait for ORBX and another update to get frame rate back using seasons?

For now I am leaving it off (uninstalled).

I really love the AccuSeasons but I can't live with the frame drop. I am using a 4 screen in Multi screen setup so I need all the frame rate I can squeeze out of my old system.

Hi 177B. You should not have to wait for an update from Orbx as everything was done behind the scenes. Sounds like this can be figured out pretty easily if you create a REX support ticket. The link to the support site is below. Thanks.

I did send in a message to support using that link.

It was in the form of a chat. And it stated no one was available all offline but I left my email and name as well as description. I hope to hear back for a solution soon, within reason. I know tech support is hard.

Well so much for any update or being able to use accuseasons on my end the orbx app is asking me to install now and I don't even get a word not allowed out of it. Says error path library does not exist. Any ideas
