FSLTL - live traffic finally released

Recommended Posts

Took some time and tweaking but finally, got the traffic life/variation I wanted.

Looks great! Could you elaborate on what mods you’re using? Is this SU10?

With my old rig it was taking 8 minutes or more to load, now it's 3 to 4 minutes.

But at the same time you have reduced your available liveries by about 600+% . That's a lot of missing aircraft.

Slightly disappointed by the update, the fallback is still rubbish in Asia not using my AIG library as I hoped it would. Plenty of white planes still visible where I for sure have a repaint ready in the AIG library...

According to other posters, FSLTL won't use any legacy FSX models, so it won't use AIG A32Xs or 737(non MAX)/767/747 which are still in the old MDL format.

Yes it's SU10, and I'm using your mixed method of FSLTL for IFR along with AI Offline Traffic addons for VFR.

Still getting a couple of blank white liveries on IFR planes even though the options are on to disable them, but besides that the landing/takeoff traffic is much less frequent and I'm not getting any stacking or clogging on final approaches.

Plenty of IFR/VFR traffic in the air also (should have clicked all object names in the video)

Max Active IFR Aircraft (0=disabled): 100
20:52:41   Max Active VFR Aircraft (0=disabled): 0
20:52:41   Additional Parked Aircraft (0=disabled / 10=max): 0
20:52:41   Max Radius to Inject Aircraft (50-200km): 100
20:52:41   Blocked Aircraft Removal Time : 120
20:52:41   https://flightplandatabase.com/ API key for routes : Enabled
20:52:41   Blank liveries will NOT be used
20:52:41   Generic models will NOT be used

Thanks, this seems to work really well judging by your video. I wasn’t aware of the E-Jets series. And you pretty much filled the airport without any parked AI.

EDIT: They included the Norwegian airline Wideroe even though it has only 3 Embraer E190-E2. Nice. Anyone knows if FSLTL has Dash 8’s?

Yep, I let the injector run and sat there in drone mode for about 10 minutes and came back to filled up spaces. Some IFR's were being boarded and loaded.

The 120 second value recommendation stopped all the model changing thankfully.

Tried to catch an Embrear 175 landing at Santos Dumont but I wasn't quick enough with the record button by the time I droned over there.😅

Now I will enable some more of my freeware/payware GA addons as AI, as the 510 Mustang and Kodiak were spawned. (The models are fully LOD'ed though, so will most likely add to performance tax)

Great! Do we have to do anything to use the E-Jets add-on with FSLTL or will it be detected automatically when it's installed in the community folder?

This is my config file:

{"ifraircraftlimit":40,"vfraircraftlimit":10,"staticaircraftlimit":0,"staticaircraftlimitmax":2000,"spawnradius":50,"secstilremove":120,"flightplannerdbapikey":"","nofallback":"Yes","nogenerics":"","modeloveride":"","consoledebug":"","fshudport":19786,"silent":"no"}

The bold item is new in the latest update. Does anyone know whether or how that max limit for static aircraft comes into play even though I have set a limit of "0"?

Also, How do I turn off the Generic models option? Mine says "Generic models will be used".

Looks like I'm buying this E-Jets series addon too. Thanks for the tip @blueshark747. How many GB is this after installing?

Edit: Bought it, it's 1.9GB installed.

I would like to see some optimizations with this. Stutters at ground level are quite concerning.

Did you reduce the textures to 2k? That may help.

How do you like the e-jet ai addon? I just saw it a few days ago but I was waiting on some reviews but there aren't any yet. Do you find those models to be better than AIG and FSTL? I guess it's cheap enough to try but I am afraid that the AIG version is just as good, and I won't be using the addon e-jets.

I though FSLTL already had some GA planes in the mix? There are freeware mods that allow some GA planes for AIG but not sure if they work for FSLTL.
