Bijan vs Accuseason

If you look in your community folder, which should be easy for anyone, look for an entry that says "Bijan seasons XXXX"  When you are going to change seasons, delete the current season and copy and insert the new season. Takes about 10 seconds.

Bob,

Can you please stop! When was the last time you downloaded an update for this add-on?

As has been stated it's unprofessional not to zip all the required files and provide an easy download for the customer.

By now, there should be an easier way to install this add-on.

Having said that, it's ridiculous to spend any money on these add-ons, unless they are 75% off, since MSFS 2024 is right around the corner.

That's just my feeling, but some can disagree if they like.

What drama. This is a PAID software. You expect me to pay. I expect it to be professional, not amateurish.

The addon itself seems good. Very little time to try it yet.

Its supposed to be per season, but I have zip files that say Summer_N_Winter.

Not sure how that works, but I still have to read the read me files.

Simply don't purchase it or go on to another newer product which actually gets current support?

You are whining over spilled milk here...Bijan has obviously moved on and doesn't care to make an executable at this point.

Hello everyone, I wanted to address some concerns regarding the installation process of my Seasons add-on.  @Ron LefebvreTo those who are having issues, please ensure you've read the 'How to Install' file provided with the download. I understand that the current file structure may be confusing, but this is due to changes in the Simmarket system. Rest assured, the next version (coming soon) will feature a single zip file containing all necessary files, along with a new video tutorial to guide you through the installation process.

I also want to assure you that I haven't abandoned this project! In fact, I'm working hard to add new features and ensure compatibility with the next MSFS version. This means that the Seasons pack is far from over - it's actually evolving and improving! Stay tuned

Install into Addon Linker community folder.  Tick the season you want.  Go fly.

It isn't ridiculous, just a choice.

Yes, it could be made easier, but it is still very easy.

It’s great to see you active again, Bijan.

Thanks for all your hard work and contributions to MSFS over the years.

I assumed that it was Simmarket that changed how the folders are now downloaded individually, instead of one zipped file with all the folders as in previous versions. It's good to know that Bijan has not abandoned this project. In the beginning, I was one of those members/customers who always spoke highly of the add-on. I did the same for SLC. I'm glad these developers did not let me down.

I have more than 500 payware & freeware add-ons all wonderfully organized in my SSD. The add-on linker is what I use to enable only the add-ons that I want to use for each flight. This is another one of those freeware gems that I've been boasting about since it was released. Probably the best freeware add-on ever developed for msfs 2020. There are a few others, but this one is really special.

Totally agree. Can't imagine trying to run MSFS without it. I suspect there's a lot more I could do with it but I jumped in early with this and am mostly just using what I guess is the basic process. But as a man with over 1000 payware addons now, and probably as many freeware, I could not run my system without it. Actually quite a simple idea, but incredibly well executed. And I see no likelihood of it becoming unnecessary for MSFS2024 either.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

  • 5 months later...

So how about now between the 2 (REX and Bijans)?

It seems that Bijans (4 Seasons Pack v8 Earth FX) is offering more overall than REX.
