Bijan vs Accuseason

Lots of opinions either way in this thread but I moved from Bijan’s to Accuseason and am happy with it.  If you currently own neither I’d add that Accuseason is the only one currently being updated.

No, no. There's been a recent Bijan update.

EDIT. There was a claim by REX that Accuseasons has been performance optimised compared to Bijan. Has this been validated and is the claim justified?

Think I'll give Bijan another try. Mind you, the leafless winter trees look more like dead trees to me...

There are multiple tree types that loose their leafs in winter…

Just my 2 1/2 cents worth -- I am sure Accuseason is a great product, but I prefer Bijan's trees because I actually don't want to have the seasons change in sync with the real world. Rather, I want to decide for each flying session what season I want to fly in -- just because it's winter where I live, I don't necessarily want to see bare trees in MSFS. With Bijan and Addon linker, it takes about 10 seconds to make the selection.

Perfectly possible with REX as well.

Understood, but I believe the main attraction of REX is the automatic change of seasons -- correct? For those who don't need or want this, and who (like me) are already using Bijan, the incentive to switch isn't there.

No. You have exactly the same choices. Probably more choice, as you can select different themes within each season.

No, you can choose the seasons in REX as well

It’s only automatic if you leave your computer on all the time which I don’t. So I have to go into the UI each time and manually do it.

Is Bijan's product the only one that shows runways in snowy conditions?

Note that I said automatic change of seasons. For those who like the idea, it's great to have this option.

It's a "update" that removes the automation as that is now broken apparently.  That's it.

Are you positive about this Eric? As I understood it, REX puts a task in task manager. By default, any tasks in TM that have been missed will run first.  I do not have my system running 24/7 and I get auto changes with no issue.
