Agreed. Having used Bijan's seasons for quite some time now, I thought when Rex first released AccuSeason that they didn't look as good. But I finally bought AccuSeason today, and so far at seems at least as good as Bijan, if not better in some respects - particularly considering the automation and variety of options available. And as others haver commented, overall performance in the sim is also better with Accuseason.

Including terrain masks?  Because the information in the install dowload specifically says that the terrain masks are incompatible with DX12.

Did this even before the SU 10 update and running DirectX 11. No terrain mask usage.

No - I've never used the masks.  People were reporting issues in the early stations of development - I know that Bijan was working to improve the situation.  I figured that I would give them a try when we went into the next winter, as snow-covered runways were the main issue (I believe) for the masking approach.

If masking is important for you maybe they aren't currently compatible with DX12.

Yeah, saw there was something in there for that, although the wording seemed strange. Was hoping someone would confirm if it worked to clear the runways !!..

I really wish Accuseason could bring back the decidious biome. I have used this biome in many of my own sceneries, but since the latest Accuseason update, it's not present anymore when I have Accuseason enabled. 

(This is probably not the forum for this 🙂, but what I mean is that when I create a scenery with vegetation polygons and select biome override, I can no longer choose the biome named just 'Decidious' since the latest Accuseason update. Plus I also get an error now for every polygon with this biome override selected). 

Because of this I have gone back to Bijan so that my sceneries are displayed correctly. (Bijan is a great addon aswell, looks really good, but I would like to use Accuseason).  

Can anyone confirm which version of Bijan's seasons is OK to use w/ SU10?  I had installed the latest version but had wretched stuttering and someone here had said that recent version didn't work well w/ SU10.

Will Accuseason with the upcoming update improve the " lime green terrain" issue that seems to plague parts of the world? Ability to color the terrain properly? If so, this could be a complete game changer (kind of like back in the FS9 days of Birds Eye View and GE Pro). Some of the sattelite images frankly look not too great at high altitude.

Hi planechaser. Yes, AccuSeason will be addressing Terrain Coloring in some parts of the world such as the U.S./Canada, UK, Ireland, and much of Europe including Scandinavian countries. I did post these images before, but will post them here for your reference showing Default Coloring, Early Autumn, Mid-Autumn, and Late Autumn. Thanks for your question.

I've been using Bijan for as long as I can remember but him going mia prompted me to check out REX accuseason and I dont think I will be looking back. I've had every REX product since the beginning of time so it was a no brainer.

Does anyone have photos comparing tree sizes in Accuseason? Thanks!

I might add that this excellent freeware mod is compatible with AccuSeason:
