New Nvidia driver ? With DX12 improvements?

After some more testing, I'm not getting any more FPS with DX12 DLSS than with DX12 TAA. But DLSS "feels" smoother for some reason.

And DLSS seems to be less demanding on CPU/GPU, at least with respect to temperatures.

I discovered that too, DX12 and DLSS bring the temps in the GPU down quite a lot. I have always felt that a lot of CTD problems are due to overheating the GPU.

I really dont think the dev mode is working  correctly in DX12. It showing i am GPU limited, but no matter what i do it remains GPU limited with the same latency timings. I can put render scale to 10 and it will remain GPU limited with the same latency timings. Am i missing something about how DX12 works or is it really broken in DX12 ?

I have to say I'm amazed, with the brand new driver I can even use VR in DX12. Awesome.

DX12 seems smoother but it comes at a significant sharpness reduction on my system. To get the sharpness i need to run DX11, and then i lose the smoothness. Ugh.

I honestly don't see any visual difference between DX11 and 12.

Spent a few hours testing every combo to sort this out. Compared apples to apples. DX12 is fine now. DLSS is not good, but otherwise DX12 is crisp.

I've never had any issues with DX11 TAA why should I try DX12? Change my mind.

Are you able to fly into big airports like Vienna without a Fps drop? I have a 3080 10Gb and my Fps are dropping from 35 to 15 while approaching. Always when VRAM is maxed out.

Try an airport without a photogrammetry city in the immediate background, this is most likely what is causing your FPS drop, or try LOWW without Vienna PG.

It's not for us to change your mind, only you can do that...

Same problem with 12900k and Rtx 4090

gpu limited/ cpu limited and manipulators from time to time

I already figured that one out as well though its only reducing the frame drop and do not eliminate it.
