October 13, 20223 yr Figured out the flicker. Had to set vsyc on and lock frames at 40. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

October 13, 20223 yr Is that GeForce and W11 22H2 update issue resolved with this release or does one still need to get the 3.26 beta for GeForce? Eric

So with vsync on it technically will limit my fps to 144. But…locking fps at a much more realistic number of 40 was what actually fixed this issue. No idea why. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
October 13, 20223 yr Honestly, I see no performance difference between DX11 and DX12. Then again I see no difference with DLSS quality on or off either. October 13, 20223 yr Switched to DX12 for the first time with these drivers. So far it seems very smooth. I dropped about 10% FPS compared to DX11, but there was less stutter and more fluent. At least that's my impression. However the CPU only used 4 threads, and max system memory used was about 15 GB. Max GPU memory used was about 8.5 GB. One strange quirk, it made the runway surface look like plastic and shiny, kind of like in X-Plane. That was weird. Trying to hunt that down. Not sure if it´s the same I had with DX12.. I had a blink every 10 sec inside the cockpit, like a weak strobe effect. Disabling Bloom fixed it for me System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3

I also tried DX12 again (now with the new Nvidia driver) and also lost about 10% FPS. The smoothness is the same for me in DX11 or DX12, so I see no reason to use DX12 and went back to DX11 again.
