Brian, There are multiple topics here in this MSFS forum on this subject. They contain a wealth of information. I highly reccomend you look through them. They are easy to find. Here are a couple. Read past the titles as one title is for fun from a happy purchaser. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/620493-the-honda-jet-isnt-good/ https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/624777-why-the-hjet/?tab=comments#comment-4851066 Edited October 15, 20223 yr by fppilot Frank Patton Corsair 5000D Airflow Case; MSI B650 Tomahawk MOB; Ryzen 7 7800 X3D CPU; ASUS RTX 4080 Super; NZXT 360mm liquid cooler; Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM; RMX850X Gold PSU;; ASUS VG289 4K 27" Display; Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Crosswind 3's w/dampener. They are both good, but the Longitude is faster if you care. Hjet is one of my favorite aircraft to fly. It's more of a matter of getting bored flying the same thing, and then switching to something new. I fly the HJET too fast and ignore the overspeed warnings. The HJET feels slightly more refined I suppose, easier to land, but I think in RL that is true as well. I think HJETS are incredibly easy to fly, if that is your thing. October 15, 20223 yr Author I do like the extra speed in the Longitude, not that faster but on longer trips it can save you a good 20 minutes or more. I like the small runway length required by the hjet. well hey, the Long. is "free" but for the short flights I like to fly, the Hjet would be the ticket. and for only $25 - a good deal. Ciao!
October 15, 20223 yr After I bought the Hjet and flew the tutorial a few times I looked back at the $25 price and compared it to other "stuff" I've bought for $25 (or more) in a variety of flight sims. This plane is the best $25 I've ever spent on a 3rd party addon. It just works without the excuses of why it won't or can't. Sounds are very good, above average so far in MSFS. It's overly automated which for one pilot seems ideal. It's Garmin, it's easy. The included liveries are, in my opinion, worse than awful. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

Overly automated only applies when training and appication is not needed. Not the case with this highly modeled Hjet. The automation comes primarily from a G3000 suite nicely enhanced by the Hjet developer and it requires acquisition of pilot proficiency. When Working Title completes its development of the G3000 suite, as it has with the G1000 GTNxi, then no "automated" stones may be thrown. Other models will then benefit, as will the Hjet. The Hjet, credit to its developer, is ahead of that curve until then.... And if he sticks with it, as he has so far proved he will, he will certainly stay ahead of the curve with attributes of the aircraft it models. October 16, 20223 yr i fly both and enjoy both - the H jet is fun and so easy - can't always trust the H jet to hold Vinav the whole flight and sometimes missies out on the approach The Tom cruise livery is my favourite For " Longer" trips and a little more speed - I prefer the Longtitude and can mostly be landed at slow speed and Vnav trusted

Totally different planes. With completely different use scenarios.
October 17, 20223 yr The Hjet is by far the best of the two. System wise, the Hjet is refined while the Longitude is rough around the edges. Unfortunately though, and not the airplanes' themselves, and even with the WT enhancements, the GPS stinks and completely ruins the immersion for me. I get TONES of randomly added user way points which makes the autopilot go crazy. I also get that "desynchronized" warning a lot and the VNAV doesn't work. WT stays they are working on a major overhaul for the GPS which can't come soon enough. One small thing I can't figure out - and it's me - not the airplane. The range of the airplane w/ 4 paxs and light baggage should be about 4 hours. When I try to build a flight plan with that, I never have enough fuel. A. October 17, 20223 yr Whilst it is a different class than the C700 - I would say it is slightly better, at this point in time, although both suffer from the navigational issues that @Dreamflight767 has mentioned above. Until the WT G3000/G5000 Refresh is out then I would suggest the WT CJ4 is far more capable than either and free, and also (according to WT) will be refreshed before the G3000/G5000 comes out.
