October 23, 20223 yr Dino Cattaneo has been known for his military aircraft for quite some time now. Perhaps you've downloaded his freeware F14, S3B, T45C, F35 or others over the last decade. I bought his latest creation, the M-346 'Master' for about 25 USD (on the marketplace because I forgot about Simmarket!). I'm really enjoying it. And I'd recommend it! While it is limited to traditional navigation (you can load a MSFS flight planner route from the world map I believe), I've had some of the most fun in this thing that I've ever had in the sim. The glass cockpit contains very readable instruments and they are also fps friendly. The jet itself is extremely agile and quite fast even though it is a trainer. With an MMO (maxiumum mach number) of 1.2 - you'll be sure to get to where you need to go in a jiffy! There is also an autopilot capable of holding ALT, HDG and can fly an ILS coupled. I'm not certain if it is Flight Into Known Icing capable (FIKI) but I did find a de-mister switch in the RH console. I did bind windshield heat to a key for my own personal use. I've flown this plane on a variety of sorties over the last few days including a HI-TACAN approach into Whidbey Island NAS. I've never done that in a civilian sim (it's similar to a VOR approach but usually starts above FL180). It may have been possible in P3D though I never tried. The aircraft also features lovely interior lighting and dimmable formation lighting (for those NVG night flights). The HUD is collimated (I use Track IR) and the symbology was quite advanced - for me at least- you might need to peruse the 60 page manual to see what everything means. It comes with several unique liveries and the usual site has some excellent user repaints as well. There are some optional payloads you can setup too. It's not a completely "study level" jet but it's quite affordable and just an all-around excellent addon - use a gentile touch on the flight controls for this one! (I wanted to post a few pics here but I'm posting the rest of my shots at the screenshot forum per the rules) https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/625682-m-346-master/ 3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr 10 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr 16 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Edited October 23, 20223 yr by ryanbatc | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 23, 20223 yr I purchased this as well, and I love it. Well worth the price. Everything is very well done, from the textures, the 3d modeling, the sounds, and the flight model. A real joy to fly for sure. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
October 23, 20223 yr Yep... it is my go to Fighter Jet aircraft. It seems to do everything well for what it is. i9-14900K / DDR6 / 4090 / 64 GB RAM
October 23, 20223 yr I think it's a worthwhile purchase, too. It doesn't let you enter a flight plan within the plane, which is a drawback, but I like everything else about the aircraft. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
October 23, 20223 yr Looks a lot like the AlphaJet 🙂 Cute ! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 23, 20223 yr I have been considering this for some time, so Ryan might have just pushed me over the edge! I assume military loadouts will be available if purchased outside of the marketplace. EDIT: Also available on Just Flight for those who like to gather and spend their loyalty points, and also only £23.99 rather than 30 Euro at Simmarket (Currently 26.16 Euro). One review commented on an annoying clicking sound in the cockpit. Not sure if @ryanbatc can comment on this? It might have been fixed. At least there are always good and regular updates from IndiaFoxEcho when needed - Well supported products from Dino. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
October 23, 20223 yr I haven't bought anything from IndiaFoxtEcho before. Anyone got any of their other military addons? They've also made the F-35. Then there's the Just Flight Hawk T1 trainer (I had that one in XP11) - anyone got that one? There's also a few military jet from DC Designs - F-14, F-15, AV-8B. The only military jet I've tried in MSFS so far is Asobo's F/A-18. When I need something fast nowadays I tend to jump into the Vertigo. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Yeah I've bought a few over the years and the MB331 or whatever came out right away when MSFS was released. October 23, 20223 yr Being a fast jet, it's not my cup of tea in MSFS, but there's no denying it looks absolutely first class. Dino has produced some masterpieces over the years. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

The problem is having the time to fly them all 🙂 For several months now I've been flying GA exclusively but I wouldn't mind something much faster occasionally to do some exhilarating valley runs. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I had to look it up: The bridge is 2,600 feet (790 m) long and 107.66 feet (32.81 m) wide, with a span of 950 feet (290 m) and overhead clearance of 45 feet (14 m). I'm to chicken to fly under MSFS bridges - never know if there's air or brick underneath them. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
