FSLTL?

Saw multi contrails, maybe eight planes all in formation, parallel to each other. Two groups of eight going in different directions.

Seems like everything is always over done on first attempt, then it's backed off to something more realistic.

My guess Roy is that the data source will have a lot of 'finished' or 'out of range' flights to start with but FSLTL still sees these in a delayed sense as still active so they all end up being injected at the same point and time. My experience is it takes 10 mins or so to work through these garbage flights until there is some real time synch with FR and FSLTL. This is probably more obvious at busy airports than smaller ones with limited traffic.

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

This is unfortunately true, but I think it's the default MSFS behaviour.

I just had a plane doing cruising speed on the ground, literally clipping through the airport buildings. lol. Ok...

ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD /  2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors

Despite the odd go-around FSLTL is working pretty ok for me, however if I turn real-life traffic on I can match most aircraft to whats happening on FR24, but I also get an influx of generic white liveries as well, despite having this option turned off in the setup.

Yep, it is because I understand now that model-matching has been broken by SU11...Honestly I think Asobo should open the model-matching algorithm and leave it to us -You see AIG, FSLTL, PSXT, ELT everybody else is doing the matching just fine and you can tweak it at your avail.

I had this at Heathrow the other day. Something has gone really wrong as never saw this before

it would be cool to see some type of app that 'slows' or 'delays' the flightradar24 stuff so you can more closely check between FSLTL and FR24 - be interesting to watch.

Looks FSLTL released some new models today,  or at least I found an update in the FBW installer.

Also,  Birdman released some new gate fixes today. https://flightsim.to/file/32783/airport-gate-mapping-and-taxi-fixes-for-aig-traffic

Now packaging all of the airport gate mappings and taxi fixes I create for third-party AI traffic solutions such as FSLTL and others into one download.  Just copy the folder for each airport you want from the zip file to your Communities folder (completely remove the old version of an airport folder before copying in the new).

Airports included in current version (Newly added in bold; check out changelogs tab below for details/changes on each):

USA:  KBNA-Nashville / KBOI-Boise / KCLT-Charlotte / KDEN-Denver / KFLL-Ft Lauderdale / KHOU-Houston Hobby / KLAS-Las Vegas / KLIT-Little Rock / KMHT-ManchesterNH / KMIA-Miami / KMCI-Kansas City / KOAK-Oakland / KOKC-Oklahoma City / KPHL-Philadelphia / KPHX-Phoenix / KRNO-Reno Tahoe / KSAN-San Diego / KSTL-St Louis

Australia: YBBN-Brisbane / YMML-Melbourne / YPAD-Adelaide

France: LFLL-Lyon / LFMN-Nice / LFPO-ParisOrly

Italy: LIRF-Rome

Philippines:  Manila-RPLL

Trinidad & Tobago: TTPP-Port of Spain

This is designed for use with AI traffic solutions like FSLTL and others and the standard default scenery for each airport.  For best results, turn off the built-in AI traffic within MSFS settings.  Assume this will not work with any 3rd party scenery for each airport (but try it if you're willing; very easy to remove if incompatible).

What this is:
- Terminal gates mapped to airlines using FlightAware data
- Terminal gate names changed to match reality and ground gate name markings may be added
- FEDEX/UPS and other cargo parking mapped to correct locations/airlines, if applicable
- Parking spaces resized to match aircraft size
- Parking spaces moved or rotated to better match reality
- May include taxi fixes to try and keep the AI traffic from performing weird or unnecessary loops or paths to get to their destination

What this is not:
- No new or improved scenery/buildings/terminals (usually)
- Does not resolve poor MSFS AI behavior
- Does not resolve some gates not being used due to radius overlap (default MSFS behavior) (this can cause some airliners to park at ramp locations)
- Any AI traffic (e.g. MSFS default AI traffic, etc) used that does not include the ICAO code for the airline may not appear in the correct location.  For best results, turn off the built-in AI traffic within MSFS settings.

Edit:  WTH,  while I'm at it.

Our own vbazillio updated his Ramona and San Diego Gillespie today.

2 patch builds available in FBW installer to round out the year. We found a few issues in the recently released base pack update and it also raised a couple of things that could be improved in the injector. This really is the final change for 2022! 🙂

Base Models Patch 1.1.1 * Fixes to door placement textures on all E170s * E170 UAL livery accidentally had DAL texture in folder - now fixed * UAE / QTR A388 Arabic lettering direction fixed * Contrails use a unique GUID to prevent interference with other packages / default effects * Registrations for 'special' liveries added where they had been lost e.g. AAL retro specials allowing accurate injector match * E170 ASA paint for E75L fallback, E190 AZU paint for E195 fallback. * New BER, BEL, ANG, APG, CXI, FBA, HBH paints * ICAO match for JLJ e-jets changed to JAL to match FR24

Traffic Injector 1.3.4 * Fix for user profile names that contain multi-byte chars like Ø * Re-worked model matching to improve handling of operators to airlines matches post e-jet additions * Alter the ATC callsign update code so that the correct operator is used, this does not kick in until the aircraft takes off due to MSFS bug (so you might hear Brickyard during taxi which becomes SkyWest on take off) * Add a fix for the injector crashing with invalid links in community folder, which can be common using tools like Addon linker. With the holiday season around the corner, support on the discord channel will be on a best-efforts basis.

I'd like some small a/c and VFR traffic.

I'm noticing on FSLTL there is the option to add VFR traffic and it's in beta.  But I haven't seen very much.  What is involved here?  Will there be more GA in the pipeline?
