December 5, 20223 yr Explain this... I had previously set static plane max to 20 in the config.json file. Just now, out of KPDX again, same gate, now I launch FSLTL and frames drop at the gate from 47 or so with electrics on and setting up the FMC all the way down to 27. I look outside, tons of parked aircraft. Killed FSLTL, entered 4 in the .json file and now frames are fine at 41 or so with many less static planes added. When I look at the console before changing it said 30, not 20, hopefully I just hit the wrong key and didn't notice! Anyway the current take home for me is massive frame rate hit seems to be associated w/ this value. It was working fine before I updated to 1.3.2. Frustrating. Yeah I'm not sure how to fix the issue. Are you still having the same problem or have you found a fix? Anyway the current take home for me is massive frame rate hit seems to be associated w/ this value. I've been trying different values for staticaircraftlimitmax. At its default value of 2000, it works as I expect: Historic Parked at 1 corresponds to about 20 aircraft, 2 is 40 etc. It's not a precise percentage value, but close enough. However setting staticaircraftlimitmax to something else (I tried 200 100 and 20) seems to mess up the math. staticaircraftlimitmax = 20 and Historic Parked = 2 resulted in 88 static aircraft at RJTT. Not sure what is going on, but it seems that setting a low value may actually result in MORE static aircraft. Undercarriage lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?
December 5, 20223 yr Also a quick question....does there need to be the AIG oci beta file in the community folder for FSLTL to work? It's working well now FWIW, takeoffs, landings, limiting traffic and one of the most pleasant side issues w/ FSLTL is finally no longer see the heinous square nav lights! Sounds like a broken vacuum cleaner I noticed that too. I think its the recent change that FSLTL introduced to counter the high power setting of aircraft taxiing. They did mention that the in sim code fights against this so that is what I assume is causing the sound modulation. Annoying but again, out of FSLTL's control.

It doesn't "need" it, but it sure helps when you have it installed alongside FSLTL. From 1800 liveries with just FSLTL to over well 10,000 including many missing models. December 6, 20223 yr This probably deserves a thread of its own, but I think it is relevant enough for the FSLTL discussion as it addresses parking positions at many major airports. There is an extensive collection of AFCADS available on flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/32064/airport-parking made by b757. I have been using it for some time now and I find it is a substantial improvement. Undercarriage lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?
