FSLTL?

Now back to my PSXT where traffic parks and behaves like they should. 😉

Absolutely 🙂
Having read the 90+ pages of FSLTL tweaking contemplations over the last couple of months there’s no doubt that I’ll renew my annual RealTraffic subscription later this month. Now that Nico has worked even more magic on PSXT it remains the perfect solution for me.

I tried RealTraffic, but I found it to work best if I flew into airports that had been "learned" by the application. If you constantly fly into new airports the ground traffic and gates seems empty. This is where FSLTL wins for me. Or am I doing something wrong?

No, that's the way it works - unless you take the Pro subscription which allows PSXT to learn your destination while you're enroute.

What I do is simply launch the Learner and let it run for a few hours with the airports that I'll be visiting soon. But we're going way off-topic here 😉

FSLTL has become fine for me now that I discovered static aircraft was set to 2000.  Since changing to 20, with only 10 max IFR and 4 VFR all's very well.

Yeah i find that FSLTL is working well enough for me now. Well enough to move on to ATC and other issues.

That is only true for parked static aircraft at airports where you never have been before.

Live ground traffic is always available (unless there is no ADS-B ground coverage, but most airports have), as soon as you land, or sooner if you have entered your destination airport in the GUI.

FSLTL  injects parked aircrafts in a seconds in every airport of the sim

Yes, but not at the right places and at the right hour 😉   And normally in PSXT you will have a "learned" airport and you will have them immediate too.

Just have to ask here, how did you 'discover' that you were set at 2000?  The figure is literally displayed when you start the app and in-sim in the menu.  Did you just not take notice or are you speaking about some type of bug that I may not be aware of.

I'm just confused.  I didn't even know 2000 was an option.  I thought it was 0-10.

He is talking about  2000 in the config.json file. That is the maximum by default in that file, but having 2000 there doesn't mean it is set to 2000. Mine has 2000 there also but I have 0 set in the injector, so I have no statics. I think what counts is the value in "staticaircraftlimit" not the one in "staticaircraftlimitmax". I have 0 in the injector and 0 in "staticaircraftlimit" and have no statics, even with 2000 in "staticaircraftlimitmax".

Just read this over the official forums from Kaii3:-

for the users (i guess most of them here) that do not monitor the SDK Forum:

Asobo is currently in the process of retesting the AI-System and identify issues that can be fixed for the SU12 release.

There you go I didn't understand it either.  What we see when FSLTL launches was this line:

Additional Parked Aircraft (0=disabled / 10=max): 2 (max of 30 aircraft per airport)  The "additional" piece confused me so when I saw this in the .json file ""staticaircraftlimitmax":2000 that was an unambiguous to me and thought it mattered.  My better experience may be from decluttering GSX it's too early to say but out of KPDX I have very manageable frame rate w/ no need to stop FSLTL.
