Welp. I was about to step away from my DA40 and TBM930 flying and learn to fly the CJ4 but this thread has just about convinced me to give the VisionJet a go instead.

Or maybe in addition to... 😛

These addons remind me of baseball cards...there are a lot of them but only a few you really love.  I'm addicted though.  I'm an easy customer if you're making a bizjet or GA aircraft lol.

My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL |
| Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I'm in a similar boat. Airliners do very little for me. I'm a GA flyer at heart but every now and again, I get the urge to go fast so I figured I'd add a jet to repertoire.

Fast is kinda a funny word for the vision jet lol.  It's a fun plane but the TBM 900 is faster!

Still I can't wait for the G3000/5000 and the longitude update.  Oooooh that's gonna be amazing!

Vision jet can definitely fly slower then TBM 900! Check this out 🙂

Lol you're technically correct!

Do they have any control over the parachute (even the tiniest bit)?

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

The Vision Jet is like a 600cc motorcycle power wise, while the HJet is like a monstrous 1000cc Hayabusa!!

Runs great in VR, beautiful interior and exterior visuals. Easier to manage than the HJet landing wise.

It's been a great year in MSFS for us bizjet lovers!

Anyone want to pool up some bribery money to win Aerobask over and develop the Epic Victory Jet for MSFS?😁

I'd pool money but it would be for Aerobask's excellent DA50RG rather than the Epic. I'd _love_ to have their excellent DA50 coupled with WT's G1000 NXi. <sigh>.

But back to the SF50. Are we saying that flights in the SF50 would be _slower_ than flights in the TBM930? Because maybe I'd look for something else then.

Yep that 5 blade Hartzell composite propeller on the TBM 930 makes it a hotrod muscle plane compared to the SF50.

It will out cruise and out climb the SF50, while getting about 10-12 gallons per hour less (probably more.. the SF50 has some pretty sophisticated efficient fuel economy management systems)

I would say the TBM 930 is still the better pick as far as performance and longer distance trips.

I think the SF50 has the edge on the TBM 930 in takeoff/landing distance capabilities.

Yes indeed.  I'm looking forward to some more liveries as well.  And of course, the G3000 refresh.

The visibilty in the Vision Jet is really good... The TBM has this long nose in the way..

The SF50 will certainly be my Hawaiian/Caribbean/Florida flyer for a while because of this.🍻

Paired with sceneries like these should make some amazing experiences https://flightsim.to/file/26699/honolulu

Well I bought the SF50 anyway. But I swear I've never managed to get the TBM up to 330 knots. Of course, I don't really know what I'm doing so that's no surprise.

But an aircraft *almost* as fast as the TBM with the visibility similar to an SR22 can't be ignored. Looking forward to an initial VR session with the SF50 when I get home from work.
