If they keep this up, they are going to be cutting into Carenado's market like a bunch of angry Piranhas into a school of tuna fish. And a good thing this is.

Looking forward to an initial VR session with the SF50 when I get home from work.

Just a heads up, they have locked and confined the eyepoint functions to the forward operating cockpit area only, just as the MSFS default aircraft.

Unlike the HJet,  you'll have to drone mode or set up custom camera views to reach back into the passenger area or outside of the plane unfortunately, for us folks who like to VR eyepoint stroll/pan around.

But I swear I've never managed to get the TBM up to 330 knots.

You've got to get up in altitude..  "the maximum cruise speed is 611km/h at 28,000ft altitude."

I just use CTRL+arrow to move around.. mind you, not VR.. but enough to get to the door and open it.

Yeah. That's likely the missing piece. I think I've only ever gone as high as 21500ft. Gotta break those old "low and slow" VFR sightseeing habits.

Just FYI I've been testing an update for the HJet that adds VR Zoom, not sure when the update is public though.

I can't wait. That update will make the HondaJet an even more awesome plane!

What card did you buy?

The tiny Williams seems pretty accurate to me.  It's just really loud and obnoxious irl hehe.

I think it sounds cool!  Just wasn't quite expecting such a spool-up when you barely crack the throttle.

I got the MSI 3080 LHR. Not bleeding edge but I have this rule about not paying more for a single computer component than I did for my first car. 😉

Agreed. When sitting in the cockpit, it's similar enough to the SR22 that I feel right at home in it.

You would also like the HJET for those longer jaunts.

Know this will sound like a dumb question...but how does the storage cover come off?

Thanks!

On the middle screen, VAMS, see manual section 4.3.1.

I could use a new aircraft to get me interested in MSFS a bit more again. I read good things about this plane and the HJet. Same company, different devs, if I am not mistaken, but same quality...? Is it useful to ask which is the best? I only fly the Fenix and the JPL C152 (VOR only) right now. I don't really like long flights and prefer shorter ones, like 1.5 hours from starting to closing MSFS.

On another note: I hardly touched any of the default planes: perhaps I might just as well pick on of those? Or do these two planes really offer something extra right out of the box (like everything working as it should)? I like it when everything works. 😉

I am not too proud to admit that I have been watching Wednesday on Netflix. You got me!

I loved the pool scene. Don't try this at home kids!
