Around NZWN yes, but I am sure this will be fixed sooner or later by Flightbeam. I have 150Mbps download, more than capable. Having 800 or more is not a prerequisite for PG to run perfectly. For example before I moved to my new house I had 30Mbps and could run the game with no problems - the issue I had back then was that I was using a 1660 GPU and it wasn't capable of giving me the frames I needed on top of PG usage. I read on the MSFS forums before that it was a server issue from MIcrosoft anyway, not related to your home setup. Its not a major issue for me anyway so if it ever got fixed then great but right now, meh. March 5, 20233 yr Overall, I'm not impressed from this update. Rural areas and especially the mountains don't meet my expectations compared with other WU areas. Cities (PG) look fine but nothing near overwhelmed. I also see quite a lot of mesh issues (spikes) around NZQN. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

On my end the spikes seem to have appeared only after the latest patch of said airport. Or I was just lucky before the patch. I have been checking out the whole country, from Stewart Island to Cape Reinga, and to me it looks fantastic. In past years have been to both of those (and many other places in NZ) in person, and the degree of realism I am seeing in this scenery is very impressive in rural as well as urban areas. The photogrammetry in the latter is especially nice. As for NZQN, I see no spikes anywhere in the area. And Queenstown looks spectacular.
March 19, 20233 yr Anyone seeing an issue with Flightbeam NZWN? There are visible straight lines in the water here with dark and lighter sides, amongst other anomalies. It may have nothing to do with Flightbeam NZWN.
