First Look at New Zealand update

Well, there is obviously some work to be done.  I started, well, tried to start at Milford Sound, NZ, a small out of the way GA airport.  This is what I was greeted with for a runway start.  duh.

Ray

Just doing a flight from Westport to Nelson. Looks super. The Lidar mesh is fantastic.

Just took off from Queensland not knowing where I was going.  Saw the Airport marker so I went for it.  It happen to be the Milford Sound that you spoke of.  It was perfect.

Do you have a double up of airports?

I had these very rarely, installing the Top Gun Addon should remove these.

Kind regards, Michael

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

The mesh fence in those messed up images above looks suspiciously like the fence from the freeware Milton Sound addon from a year or two back.

if you leave that installed you will definitely get a mess.

The Top Gun addon??  I thought I might have to plunk another cruise ship on top to mask it..

Edit: Tried it, and yes 🙂

It's because it's a simobject.

They now have wakes for when they're moving. If they don't move then they start foaming in protest.

This is a change that happened in the last few months.

Sometimes they do it and sometimes they don't. Not sure why there's variation. Not much one can do other than exclude it.

The first thing I did was scanning my Addon Linker NZ directory and removing a dozen of freeware addons with a high probability of conflicting or being obsolete now. I might return a couple of them after having visited the places.

The Milford Sound freeware was one of the victims, although it served me well for some time.

Kind regards, Michael
