Doing the following will fix the camera to a more realistic zoom.

Go to: AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\microsoft-aircraft-an225\SimObjects\Airplanes\microsoft_aircraft_an225

Double click on cameras in the [CAMERADEFINITION.0] on the 13th line InitialZoom =1 change to 0.354 save and exit. Load into the sim and your camera should be fixed.

Hopefully inibuilds will provide an official fix for this issue, but this is the workaround until they do release one.

 

 

I've been unable to download this, it keeps giving me a pretty non-specific error message.  Am I alone in this?

@Fiorentoni That's the Kontur MFD and not a Garmin unit. At 5:57 it is seen up close.

In the news today...

Now after some flights learning this monster airplane i realy fell in love with it..

This project is a wonderful work to show inibuild's capabilities once more to build such projects more or less very well. So I think this AN-225 is great and I'm sure that the small issues that are always present with a first release will be fixed with the following updates to everyone's satisfaction and maybe there will be more to come.

One thing I would like, but sure some won't agree is a beefier manual, with a couple of pages on the AN-225 history, weird things and quicks about this plane, anecdotes , explanation on all the working gauges, etc... 

Wings 42 Bleriot XI Manual is a true gem. would have loved to see the same for the AN-225

I know, a quick look on wikipedia, youtube, or aviation books and I can find a lot of stuff, but I love a more complete manual, and since they probably worked directly with Antonov, they surely got a tons of anecdotes and stories to tell us.

Also, about the gauges or with some switches that tooltip won't help to get a better understanding, it's hard to find online.

Is it possible to get info on all gauges, for exemple the Slip/turn indicator looks like a VSI but in M/S, is that correct?

Also what about the indicator right of angle of attack?

What is the gauge under the meter altimeter?

@bendead Yes, the slip/turn gauge is also doing the vertical speed. The digital gauge to the right of the AoA is the DME (I think). Haven't done any nav stuff yet. The gauge under the altimeter is measuring off every 1000 meters of altitude in hundreds and tens. It stays in sync with the main gauge above.

What does the error state?

Run the following commands in Powershell (admin rights)…

Go through each of the following steps one at a time. Copy each line, one at a time , paste it into the Dos window (crtl + V) and press return

and it will then run. Wait until each runs and finishes before you move on to the next one.

When you are completely finished, Restart your computer and then try to see in MS2020 will start and run properly

sfc /scannow
