I bought one as well very recently. I would typically use my Honeycomb yoke & throttles but I removed those temporarily from the desk... so in the meantime I wanted a simple joystick I could fly with and this looked interesting to me.

I'd say that it does offer a nice amount of functionality due to it's buttons and other built-in features that you won't easily find in other sticks in this price range (forget the thumb-mouse pad it's nearly useless but all other buttons work very well). That being said the axis action has very stiff centering, so beware, as I'm not certain that's going to be well received by pilot's. I guess you could open it up and apply some high quality grease...which I have the grease but have not yet opened it to apply.

One other issue you should be aware of is that it has a weight/balance issue which causes it to not stay firmly planted while pulling back on the stick during take-offs and landings...it's base likes to tilt and lift off your desk. The only way to stop this is either to secure it in some fashion or to hold it down with your free hand while applying stick pressure.

Other than these issues I DO like using it, as it offers a modern feel and aesthetic to my "cockpit". It also offers me (IM left handed) good features for the money.

I personally do not regret buying it ( I wanted something that could quickly be plugged and unplugged from desk as needed), but I am annoyed by needing to secure it to my desk, which I don't really want to have to do right now...so sometimes I need to hold it down with my other free hand...for me this is the most annoying thing about it.

Probably the best stick at its particular price point I’d say

I was curious, so got on their website and asked if it had Hall ICs, and she said it doesn't...  I will keep my TM 16000M..

@Bobsk8 Dunno about Hall, technically, but they are contactless sensors nonetheless. The feel though on the stick movement is heavy as compared to the T16000 (which I also own for quite some time).

Well I guess the tech support people on their website are clueless.

I bought one for my 11 year old grandson to use with his X Box S. He really likes it for MSFS. I use the Alpha yoke and Logitech Throttle quadrant on my PC.

I have had one since launch and I like it in general.  I certainly won't be swapping it for anything else for a while.

I was going to write a review, but @hangar has said it all so accurately I can't think of much else to say!  The force required to move the stick is more than you would expect, so you do have to grip it tightly at the base. Mine also had a slight click on moving off centre, but this seems to have disappeared with use.

One minor annoyance is that the trim wheel fights for precedence with my Loupedeck pad unfortunately. I am trying to find a way to get them to play nicely.  They both seem to have their own memory of their trim settings, so if you use the Loupedeck to trim, then quickly use the trim wheel on the stick, it jumps to the last trim setting on the joystick rather than the setting last used on the Loupedeck. But this is a minor detail only if you have a Loupedeck.. I don't want to detract from the overall quality of either device.

I just wish they'd have put the (2) slides side by side for multi engine scenarios. Then perhaps a 3rd for flaps or whatever bound to it.

Or use BluTack, which secures the base to the desk.

@Beagle12 Thanks for the tip, I have some of that Nano type tape but I don't want to use it since it tends to be quite difficult to remove and can ruin the surface of the desk if used regularly.

Do you know if the Blu Tack is more forgiving, when removing it?

The white BluTack seems to be the best in terms of adhesion and lack of residue etc. - in my experience.

UHU do a white tack as well, just as good apparently.  Lots of both on Amazon  (other retailers are available ).
