Can anybody please help me ?

As my sim won’t load. The logo comes up and loading  for 20 seconds then ctd .

I have  tried the power shell method and deleting games services and re-downloaded it.

but not working 

my ms store says 2.44gb install offensive initials not allowed?

What nvidia driver are you using, assuming you use an nvidia card?

When MSFS (Store) did this for me it ended up being a problems with Process Lasso - an uninstall and reinstall of Process Lasso and sim started normally. Evidently there are a number of programs that CAN cause start-up issues for MSFS, just happened to be Process Lasso in my case.

Another possibility is to rename UserCfg.opt then try MSFS - it will create a new, clean UserCfg.opt. UserCfg.opt is read very early in MSFS start (about when your crash happens).

I had this same thing happen to me a couple of weeks  ago.  Sorry to say but I could find no fix so  I had to reinstall.  I have now reinstalled three times this past week.  The reason being I went to the MSFS icon on the start menu and clicked uninstall.  It took about ten seconds.  That seemed strange to me since it take four hours to install it.  A reinstalled it through the Microsoft Store.  Got a bad install. So finally this last time I went to the XBox app and uninstalled and it took about 15 minutes.  When finished the Install button popped up so I clicked and reinstalled it and now I have a good install and everything is working fine.  I think the other uninstalled left all the garbage and corrupt files in there so I didn't get a good install.

I still don't know why it wouldn't load for me.  It would get to the half way point and jump back to the desktop.  If you do have to install go through the XBox app.

Run the following commands in Powershell (admin rights)…

Go through each of the following steps one at a time. Copy each line, one at a time , paste it into the Dos window (crtl + V) and press return

and it will then run. Wait until each runs and finishes before you move on to the next one.

When you are completely finished, Restart your computer and then try to see in MS2020 will start and run properly

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /checkhealth

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /scanhealth

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

RESTART your computer as the last step. Then go for a test flight.

process lasso indeed causes an issue if it is started before the sim,  you can however run lasso after the sim loads and get to the main screen.

I also had issues this morning with the sim,  i did a windows update (which gave me a new type search bar which was swifty removed) im still trying to work out what the picture is 

alas then it works fine.   

 

I run Process Lasso fine, and it has helped with frame rates and lack of stuttering in game.  I have the professional version though, and I have all of my processors assigned on start up.
I have a 13900, and only MSFS and windows explorer are allowed to use the power cores (recommended not to take explorer off a main core).

All other stuff running in the background is assigned to the eco cores, such as Tobii eye tracker, FSRealistic, and mapping software etc.

Works well for me under windows 11, just takes a bit of setting up.

I would also like to remove this but I can't find it in the startup file or uninstall on the Control Panel.

Please tell me how to get rid of it.

Well guys it was process lasso causing the issue.

Switched  it off for now

Try an uninstall/reinstall of Process Lasso - worked for me and I'm now able to use Process Lasso again. I have the paid version which I run as a Windows service on PC boot. There is a comment up-thread that Process Lasso can't be running when starting MSFS, but can be run after MSFS has loaded - not my experience, as PL service starts with my computer and is running all the time.

I have had a series of issues on the start up. MSFS runs up to the text after the Blackshark and then CTD's. Then I tried the Powershell fixes and it worked - usually at the 2nd start up.

Yesterday, it ran after the second start up with no issues.  Today the problem has reappeared. I retried the Powershell files it didn't do anything,. Again I can't get the program to run after the text after the Blackshark.  I don't know what to do next.  I use Addons linker to control what's in the community folder and there's nothing there that I haven't used before.

Any advice would be appreciated.
