I am shutting MSFS down properly. Is there some setting I'm missing? I believe that is a MSFS issue as I am having the same freq loaded at startup in other aircraft. I believe it is the ATIS frequency for KCMI - Champaign, Illinois. That was the home base of operations for subLogic, the original creators of the early releases of MSFS. It's been driving me nuts as I sim fly in and out of St Louis, Indianapolis, and the Chicago areas and 124.85 is the default freq for both active and standby. It also has unusual range. Merely tuning my departure ATIS and swapping it in as my active frequency does not get rid of 124.85 as it then sits in the standby. It then is swapped back in to active and speaks up as soon as I reach altitude. (I do not use the flawed MSFS ATC, only ATIS/AWOS) It has become part of my pre-flight to clear it in both freq windows. But Rob Young's MOI values were about double, so if the aircraft feels too nimble, you could revisit those.. going to try and will report back. And having tried it.. yes, merging Rob Young's flight model with this lovely airplane is not a bad way to go.. Update... If you are merging this with the Rob Young flight model file, be aware that the FUEL section is actually different, and needs to be restored. Bert

April 8, 20233 yr Almost all of my work has been about the feel of flying/control surface reactions and that's well before MSFS was even heard of. I wish I had the time to revisit the Bonanza Turbo but time is limited at the moment. I have noticed lately that simmers have become obsessed with avionics and button pressing innovations in many GA MSFS aircraft. It's not that I lack an interest in these things but for me the most important thing about any GA aircraft in MSFS is how it hand-flies. I've noticed a trend in many addon releases of various GA aircraft. The limited number I have tried have been frankly very poor (in my opinion) as to flying characteristics. So much so that I don't pay for or download many even free addon aircraft, and especially marketplace addons which still have encrypted and therefore uneditable flight models. I do wish Asobo would extend their cessation of in-house encryption to include 3rd party aircraft. That way the average user, and competent flight model tweakers can fix an lot of glaring faults. Until that happens otherwise impressive addon aircraft will continue to attract disapproval because although they deliver on graphics and avionics they do not deliver on flight modelling. Your Bonanza Turbo flight model carries over well into the BlackSquare Bonanza (which adds a most welcome analog set of gauges into the G36, basically turning it into an A36). No real need to revisit IMHO.. it flies just great.. One of my three favorite planes, along with the RV14 and C414. Bert
