March 10, 20233 yr Just watched a great systems overview video of this Bonanza linked at Justflight. As I watched it an unavoidable question entered my mind. Has anyone heard recently from Robert Young? These two Beech aircraft, the Black Square Bonanza and Baron, seem to me to have Robert Young written all over them. So reminiscent of the completeness of theTurbine Duke and Turbine Duke v2. Not yet as I am totally wrapped up in the Hjet as I fly a pre-arranged sports schedule that has some distance involved and too little time for the study that both of these will require. Both this Baron and Bonanza on definately on my list to acquire. I have not myself flown since 1985 and of course that was before GPS. Most of my logged hours back then were in a B55 when in the military and B36 after separation. To have the throwback gauge panels will put me in bliss, but certainly will require some "recertification", LOL! I have likely not logged any strictly "needles" hours in simulators since 2008 or 2009. My actual live right seat ride-alongs in a 310 from 2015 until late 2019 were all with GNS and later GTN panels. I have always favored the Beech models. March 10, 20233 yr Robert is dealing with significant RW issues and drops by here from time to time. He is not (to my knowledge) involved. I am waiting to hear how these fly… THAT’S where he has been mostly unmatched. I still miss my RealAir aircraft and his TN Bonanza is by far my favorite GA single in MSFS. C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

But Rob Young's MOI values were about double, so if the aircraft feels too nimble, you could revisit those.. going to try and will report back. And having tried it.. yes, merging Rob Young's flight model with this lovely airplane is not a bad way to go.. What remains for me: If they can re-size the BK KI-256, I will be totally delighted with this purchase. 🙂 Edited March 11, 20233 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

Did you simply replace the flight_model.cfg file with Rob's, or did you change some particular values in it?

As I understand it, Rob Young chose the values based on feel, not based on physics.. and I happen to like the feel of his flight models. 🙂 Edited March 11, 20233 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
