among the top 10: no helicopter, no glider, no jet fighter.

does that speak volumes?

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

They all show up further down the  lists if you check the PDF.  That said, I only ever see helicopters and jet fighters in multiplayer when someone is buzzing the airport and I have never seen a glider in game.  That may be related to where I tend to fly though.

Personally -  if I had to choose just one it would be the WWII Hafner Rotobuggy.

I was referring to "these are the February 2023 Top 10", i.e. the most popular, not all 200 or more that exist:

position 33 - Got Friends Discus 2c (glider)

position 102 - Cowan Sim Bell 206-B JetRanger

PMDG 777 (years away)

or

Aerosoft 330 (maybe only weeks or months away)

Eagles may soar, but alley cats don't get sucked into jet engines.

Hafner also came up with the idea of a similarly outfitted "Rotatank" using a Valentine tank, but that was never built. 😊

If I ever decide to switch to Microsoft Flight Simulator, the one aircraft that I would want above all others is a study level quality Avro RJ70.

Hopefully what JF is putting out lives up to your requirements, the BAE is certainly a joy to fly and I have no doubts the RJ will do that same but we'll see.

You lost me with number 7.

Features of game mode could include starting flight in 3rd person behind the plane, control or easily slew plane with keyboard, game pad or a simple joystick; auto-land, ability to change planes or livery mid-flight, instant jump to another location, and no virtual cockpit options.

Win 11 Pro, MSFS Deluxe, Quest 2.

objection your honor. it shows clearly a preference for airliners and 1-2 mot GA airplanes, and that is why MSFS released those only later on. priorities.

proof was in the pudding, or quod erat demonstrandum, for those who don't eat pudding.

Asobo improved, 3rd Party offering or modded version of the Longitude with these features:

1. Better sound and call-outs
2. Working HUD
3. Ability to walk through the cabin, working doors & windows

4. Fewer INOP buttons in the cockpit and less unavailable options in the PFD & MFD
5. Persistent pre-flight maintenance simulation
6. More info in the manual eg. walkthrough tutorial for the plane and the G5000
7. Game mode to enjoy the graphics that is MSFS

It's a good compromise between a GA and an airliner.

The Longitude is my favorite plane also at this moment. It's indeed a nice 'Airbus in GA format' which fits my needs perfectly. However, from your top 7 number 4 would by number 1 but it would have to read: 'No INOP buttons in the cockpit and no unavailable options in the PFD & MFD'. Your number 5 is interesting too but the rest I can do without. But those inop buttons and switches are spoiling it a bit for me... Can't stand inop buttons and switches... Totally immersion killing.

BTW I am also waiting for the Vision Jet update, which is taking way too long.
