I have just recently began buying some addons. What is the consensus of GSX Pro. I am not using custom airports and the PMDG 737 is my preferred aircraft.
thanks

GSX is more of a visual thing. The only operational value it has is the pushback really. You either love it or hate it. I personally have it and enjoy it.

It's hard to give you an answer without knowing exactly how you fly and what makes you enjoy the sim.

For me, the pushback alone is worth the admission price.

The parking features are very good as well. You have an actual marshallers, several types of vgds systems, and some other types of visual type docking aids.

And since you state that you do not have any third party airports, the GSX jetways are a significant Improvement over the stock ones.

I got it because the pushback option for the Fenix is not that good. The PMDG pushback does a good job on putting you on center line.

The flavor stuff is kind neat, but since the PMDG is good, you’re safe passing.

Other than pushback, GSX doesn’t have any meaningful PMDG integration — compared to say the Maddog. So, it won’t offer a lot of enhancements to the PMDG.

Yes. But those are not direct integrations. Those are generic GSX options.

I've seen some really bizarre things in GSX on video.  Like the a ground worker getting thrown into the air, lol.  The Pax that walk into the air as well.  Has that been somewhat fixed, or can it be mitigated by turning it off?  The pushback and little other things are nice, but I don't wanna see Pax walk in the air or disappear.

Most of these things have been fixed long ago. The pax-walking-in-the-air have been fixed since SU12 brought an API for jetways. Before they would randomly disconnect and GSX could do nothing about it, which made pax walking in the air. After SU12 this will not happen anymore.
Note that when you park a small jet (CRJ or ATR) on a gate with a jetway, GSX will not visually show the pax boarding for now. @virtuali might be able to explain the reasons for that and if it can be fixed.

But really, that‘s the only thing I‘ve noticed in the last 4-5 months which I would call „not working as expected“. Anything else works flawless, actually even much more flawless than in P3D back then, so the tool has had some serious bugfixing and QOL improvements overall.
Overall for me it works perfectly after a rough start last year. What it offers: a) unique immersion and b) unique pushback. I love it and I couldn‘t live without it.

Also in case anybody wonders: It‘s compatible now in-built with the ATR and its hotel mode.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I fly the pmdg 737 almost all the time and use GSX. It adds immersion. I use a mixture of that and PMDG bits. I use pmdg for fuelling but gsx for catering and loading/unloading. Being able to see passengers walking up stairs or along a jet way it great. I would recommend it.

Thanks to all, I think that for the price that it is worth a try. I do like doing things realistically with the sim.

Another plus to GSX is the insane level of updates and support it receives from the developer.  They release enhancements and bug fixes every few days, if not sooner.
