David, I hope you can get your repaired machine back.

If you're still on time please consider going AMD for the proecssor.

Since I started using Ryzen I will never look back into Intel...

GPU, that, OTOH, stay away from AMD - it's rubbish for simming...

If you have to go AMD for flight simming, it's the X3Ds you want, mind you.

Time to sit on an uncomfortable chair, put a broom between your legs, close your eyes, make some weird noises with your mouth and add to the whole lot the most powerful fuel of them all, your imagination.

Alternatively, you can go out ,smell the flowers and listen to the birds chirping (if you live in the Northern hemisphere at a reasonable latitude).

Well, you didn't miss much: the usual bickering and hand bag throwing.

I agree 100%, AMD CPUs are great, stay away from AMD GPUs.

If possible, David, ask for a full replacement of your machine

Lol, this is the worst feared scenario of all of us, especially before a long weekend, or worse yet, vacation 😉. Wishing your PC a speedy recovery so you can join us again in the virtual skies 🍻.

I've been using AMD GPUs for years, never had an issue.

it's not about issues but about performance. I've never had any issues with any of my Intel CPU's, but compared to my new AMD 7800x3D they just don't cut it anymore.
