Does FSLTL GA work?

I have the latest update, I have lots of airline and GA aircraft about.  Airliners takeoff and land but I never see a single GA taxi-takeoff-land.  Went to some of the busiest GA airports... John Wayne KSNA, Van Nuys, Montgomery Field yet nuttin'.  Is this its current state with GA or is it an issue or am I supposed to add my own flight plans?

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

I'm still dumbfounded to read posts like this. If my memory serves me well, GA AI was never that well represneted in FSX or P3D either. Can someone please explain to me what is so difficult about creating GA AI in MSFS?

I think that AI traffic so far are mainly focused on liners, based on timetable (AIG for example) or real traffc (FSLTL if using their injector with FlightRadar24 data). General Aviation small aircrafts are not visible by these solutions.

So far, the workaround seems to combine AI Offline trafic for GA only (with a modified .json) and Injected trafic for those who want liners.

Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

The mod mentioned by @vbazillio actually works OK. I just discovered it a couple of weeks ago.

If your AI airliners are added/injected by a solution using the AI Offline setting, the mod will add some GA traffic which departs, lands and communicates with ATC. I have mostly tested it in Denmark so not sure how it works elsewhere, but in a busy area I reckon you should have plenty of activity.

At AIG we are currently in the process of integrating many GA-Jets /we call it commercial GA) with "flightplans" to our OCI database. Regarding smaller "private" GA Traffic we are working on a new addon that will bring far more GA traffic for the small prop-airplanes to the airports around MSFS. The state of this addon is currently far before any actual testing phase (not even a technical alpha or prove-of-concept).

RealTraffic / PSXT / AIG / IVAO CSL fills the world with GA traffic if you don't require that traffic to be controlled in any way.

I'm using FSHUD with FSLTL injection and I am seeing GA aircraft all of the time.

Same here. I was sat in the PMDG BBJ the other day on the GA ramp at KMCO with many small props parked and taxiing around. Even a Cessna Citation pulled in to the spot front of me and shutdown which was cool.

I think it mostly comes down to a lack of AI models for GA types. FSLTL utilizes the very few default types from the sim (which aren't even proper AI models) which only makes up a small percentage of the actual GA that is out there.

I've seen GA aircraft using only FSLTL, not many though, but I have IFR set to 80 and VFR set to 2. Maybe that's why I don't see more.

I do see plenty of GA traffic in the US, not nearly as much in the rest of the world. I think if more GA models were available, I'd be seeing more. I see the injector calling for C182s and SR22s, but I don't have those.

So much better when you have a program that controls you and the traffic!
