Theres not any more info, but I bet this will be like the 40th anniversary edition. A Free update. But maybe some of airplanes we saw in the video will be paid dlc (the beluga, the a400M etc). Will see, they might announce something on the coming days/weeks.

At 1:55. On the trailer above. You will see the 4 seasons transitioning.

Fingers crossed "seasons" means a whole lot more than just tree colors. Would love to see cold crisp blue skies and white thick summer air.

mehh, I mean it looks great and all, but not sure I like where Asobo is pointing the nose of the plane here. Clouds look the same, cumulus puffs everywhere, visibility is still seemingly perfect (like the air has no pollution). Seasons look like we're going to have something similar to FSX where one day everything goes from green to brown then to white? No idea...not enough information yet. But the pictures do not show slow transition.

Although I have no idea for sure, I am willing to bet the "tornado" research thing is just some canned weather preset, *not* live weather where we can actually chase real world live thunderstorms... in fact all the weather scenes appear to be presets.

I suppose, we will see. At least there will be more stuff to do to keep the majority of the x-box crowd pleased.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, they're still waiting for Weather Radar, some semblance of usable ATC and a multitude of other long awaited bug fixes.

Indeed, no information yet... a trailer video showing the four distinct seasons in rapid succession does not necessarily mean in-sim everything goes from one to another instantly.

I wonder if Asobo put all of the major updates they've spoken about in the Q&A's into 2024. They talked about adding seasons, a "major weather update" (and now we see funnel clouds), ground physics rework, ATC, etc.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Early July

surprise TBA

i wonder why they don’t announce a huge upgrade to the existing MSFS2020 and they show a new standalone new MSFS2024 flight simulator? Very very weird

I thought seasons were coming for MSFS in their road map
