What's the VMR file exactly?

Loaded up Heathrow and started FSLTL injecting both FSLTL and Just Flight FS Traffic models. Wheels disappear on both model types. So it's probably an MSFS thing.

Wheels disappear probably about couple hundred meters. So maybe if you're using a 27" monitor at 1440P, you might not see them disappear ?

On my big screen at 4K, it's noticeable in clear weather. Here's a vid in 4K showing it:-

Its the logic to match the correct models in your library to the aircraft your simulator sees on VATSIM

Close enough to be obvious and distracting.

Yeah I've definitely seen the issue as well.

Thanks for that. In that case it's not relevant for me,

On ground for me.

Just loading up the sim now after updating.  Particularly keen on the "Flight model tweaks for take-off angle".  Hopefully this corrects the rather unrealistic way aircraft take off, it always appeared to be very flat with no nose up on rotation.  Wondering if this helps the belly flop landing of the AI as well?

Thomas Derbyshire

I see this when watching aircraft on approach. The look like they haven't checked the gear before landing and then, all of a sudden, 'POP' and the gear shows up just prior to touch down (or more often, go around).

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

I just updated to latest models and wheels still disappear. Pretty sure this started happening after SU12. spacer.png

Is this on VATSIM or multiplayer? I don't have that problem but I don't use VATSIM or multiplayer.

And can it be that those are AIG models? I don't use AIG.

Both.

Doesn't matter which library of aircraft i'm using.  Currently I use FSLTL for VATSIM  but happened before with AIG aircraft and also happens with default multiplayer aircraft when flying with a buddy

Then that's probably why some don't see it, not everyone uses VATSIM or multiplayer. Perhaps it doesn't happen with multiplayer off. You can try it.

I almost exclusively fly on VATSIM, so I see it all the time.  Rarely fly multiplayer lately but it was a significant issue when I was.  On MP, not only did landing gear disappear, but aircraft textures turned white.
