How did you manage to map this to V6. Did you reinstall the whole thing? I have this in v5 and would like to remap to use in v6 without a full reinstall.

I can't see that happening for any developer stopping P3D support - But you can ask them directly. They may also want to use the code later down the line for other platforms which is why you wouldn't opensource it. I cannot imagine the code requires that much tweaking given the camera API hasn’t changed much if at all. We had the same response from PMDG and yet here we are with early adopters successfully flying their aircraft. I can’t see myself moving to v6 until there’s a working CP. Concorde release is a few weeks away and navigation around the VC would be extremely difficult without CP. Ray (Cheshire, England). Quote We had the same response from PMDG and yet here we are with early adopters successfully flying their aircraft. I get you - But if they updated it for V6 they would have to support it and these teams aren't exactly massive companies. They aren't stopping people from "dragging & dropping" it or reg hacks to get it to work but don't expect official support. They clearly want to focus on MSFS for the time being. There is no such thing “release code”, that’s their intellectual property and is their right, of course, somebody can approach them to buy their IP but I don’t see this happening. July 4, 20232 yr Hearing a lot of positive things on compatibility. Thanks to all for reporting back. I hope HiFi can hook into the volumetric clouds better than they could in v5 EA. Orman

Hence why I’ll stay with v5. 12 minutes ago, Zangoose said: I get you - But if they updated it for V6 they would have to support it and these teams aren't exactly massive companies. Makes sense. But without CP it’s a non-starter for me. 8 minutes ago, omarsmak30 said: There is no such thing “release code”, that’s their intellectual property and is their right, of course, somebody can approach them to buy their IP but I don’t see this happening. If you remember Radar Contact John Dekker gave it away and destroyed the source code. That was a real pity. But CP can’t tap into MSFS so surely adapting it for v6 and charging a modest upgrade fee would be a reasonable option. Ray (Cheshire, England).
