I did do it as you described and it worked. No idea what happens if/when the ORBX update arrives, but since we are told about the update by the AccuSeason app itself (and not via ORBX), they probably won't update at all via ORBX and all updating goes via the app from now on.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

In the same loop. I get trying to keep your product secure but this seem ridiculous. Especially when it's stated with a valid serial from the original product you'll have access to the new one.

We will have it there shortly, but you should be able to get the update from previous version if you have it.

We will be updating through ORBX, but we are still working with them to get things setup. Probably be ready in a few days at most.

Those who bought through Orbx. Yes, the REX name is on box, but sometimes unforeseen issues arise that aren't totally in their control or even on the radar.  Unfortunately sometimes you don't know there is going to be an issue until there is one. It's unfortunate. 

Now the fix to get you past the validation issue once you have ran it once and try re-running it again is an easy one, and posted already in parts but with a key part missing. I don't want to clutter up this forum with tech support stuff so. I digress. Submit a ticket, they will get you up and running.

I'm a little confused. I haven't downloaded the new version yet. Reading through this thread, it sounds like I HAVE to create a REX Axis account to register it?

I 'upgraded' from the old version and didn't need to set up an Axis account. I did have to reinput serial key / transaction code etc. to register the product though.

Thanks for the help all. I just reentered my original data from my flightsim.com store and it loaded just fine.

Same thing here.  It ran once, took my login just fine, installed some stuff, tried to run it again and I started getting the license error.
