November 5, 20232 yr but may take even longer to build such macros than setting all ASSISTENCE to hard, except one or two cheating options. 😊 another option is to fly offline, but that has several other disadvantages as well. at least Microsoft allows to play offline should you be without internet access (didn't know such an option exists, because of REQUIRES INTERNET disclaimer). it does work as an offline account, you just have to be patient and wait much longer until MSFS will start. November 5, 20232 yr Yeah the White Dot debacle shouldn't happen again, that was an issue two years in the making which manifested itself and got 10x worse in SU12 Beta and not fully "fixed" until SU13, see "Quality Control or lack thereof" and "beta testing is supposed to find these issues so you fix them before public release", two great drumming albums some in the community have been banging for years...! I fully expect them to fix this Assistance issue during this beta (as they claim to have done internally already) Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Here: https://www.flightsimulator.com/november-2nd-2023-development-update/ Quote The biggest issue we have noted from SU_14 testers so far is a regression that was causing Assistance settings to reset to default whenever launching the sim. "The dev team has identified .the cause.." is not the same as "The dev team has fixed the bug" a few days ago they said "not in the next beta build", as the fix would come too late. but obviously Ianrivaldosmith's and a few other's threat to leave the SU14 beta and go back to some other, more serious flight simulator has had an effect on their priorities. it's about time they release at least a hotfix, before Drunq beats them to the punch again. 🤣 Edited November 6, 20232 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

November 6, 20232 yr It should be an absolute top priority. One, because it is a regression, and two, because how can they expect us to want to test the beta when it is such a pain in the rear end to set it up every time to get a flight out of it. I really don't understand their thought processes sometimes. I am using the online / offline thing for now, and it does work, but last night I forgot to go offline before shutting down, so now I will have to set it all up again next time in . My fault for forgetting - yes, but it shouldn't be like this. This has nothing to do with testing a beta and taking the inconvenience on new or experimental features that might not be working properly, this is breaking things in the sim on top of that. The dreaded spinning circle is back again as well. Edited November 6, 20232 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
