So I think it's good people complain, to make them fix it faster. Sometimes it helps.

I mean...yeah it helps when you post it on the official forum. Posting here is like talking in the pub lol. I understand turbomax's "blowing off steam." Honestly though, unless the BETA had some really incredible, game changing benefit, there's really no reason to touch it, unless you somehow feel joy when your sim doesn't work haha.

Never had any issue with betas before and never had to uninstall a beta, this is the most "problematic" issue I've had but I can live with it. Need to vent, though. Lol.

And in fact, there's a good benefit of being in the beta, when the final release comes we already have it installed instead of having the problems people had to download and install SU13. Some had to wait 1 or 2 days to install it because the servers were overloaded. I was eating popcorn.

After venting, now the things I like in this build:

- The weather fixes

- The G1000 fixes (looks like there is now TO/GA mode in the FRS500)

- Looks like they fixed the missing effects and animations (needs to be confirmed).

What are those weather fixes? I too have the impression that it overall looks better but i cant really tell what it is that makes the difference.

I think the clouds look a bit better though.

- Fixed an issue where the sim occasionally retrieves obsolete weather data

- Improved transition during cloud coverage updates AND fixed an issue where clouds don’t load when starting a flight.

I noticed some small airports with no METAR many times didn't show any clouds, now I'm seeing clouds there.

The cloud coverage transition I didn't have a chance to test yet.

Nothing have changed to atc

wouldnt say that per se, there is this new option in the assistence settings to force ATC to stick to the filed flight plan (and eg not assigning new rwy due to weather changes) and, yes, pilots and/or controllers say good bye. there may be also other changes though 😉

But other than that I got the very same inconsistencies when cleared for a given STAR and then after being given a new altitude, in the way down to the IAF, being told again to climb, then descend, then ....

I did try with  FSHUD - at least it's more consistent...
