Wow, that bad really? I'd like to see someone give VTBS a go. It's a mega hub with a beautiful terminal. The freeware mod uses a weird skin for the terminal and it's missing gate numbers along with some decent taxiways.

Saimflight did it and it's awesome.

New tease

People are thinking it's the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai

Ya the Coca Cola Arena is the top guess given that iniBuilds also said to look at the emojis in the post as a hint, which was of a drink and a stadium. They also said it doesn't necessarily have to be an airport but that it is scenery. So I'm wondering given this and the previous teasers if they are working on detailed scenery of the entire city of Dubai, in addition to the airport(s) there (or maybe without the airport).

They said it's a "much smaller airport" than OMDB, so an airport it will definitely be. Could of course been trolling us all along.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Ha true, they are taking this teasing thing to extremes with everything it seems like, and saying contradicting things lol. Maybe it's the best of both worlds with a full Dubai city scenery along with its airport(s). They've shown yachts and now this stadium (likely), so at the very least we can infer that the city will be somewhat well modelled? (city likely being Dubai)

Another tease from the weekly e-mail. That's clearly the Helipad on Burj Al Arab.

Everyone was wrong!

I already have the ORBX landmarks. So I’ll probably pass unless they’re better quality

If it was Dubai airport or maybe even DWC I’d be all over it. This though, it’s a pass for me.

ETA apparently it’s free. Fair play, in that case it’s worth a download.

In hindsight, all the teaser images they released were just pictures of landmarks, there were no images of either airport.

It's free so you might as well grab it for your account even if you don't install.

I somehow completely missed that it was free.

According to one of the devs, this will be updated over time with new buildings.
