Was curious if you were a beta tester, nothing more.

Peace

No i'm not in beta but I did not expect Asobo to release the A320 which is a Ini project in beta that's all. They did not do this for their A310. Now off to twich to see if anyone is flying it but its late even in the U.S.

Works very well. Well done inibuilds team, and the ASOBO team for bringing this to us at no cost. This would easily beat certain payware addons.

Did a cold dark start and a full circuit around NZAA and she flew as you’d expect an airbus to fly. In fact the flight dynamics handled pretty well in a cross wind also. Independent FMCs. No terrain map though.

Only thing I’m not sure is the performance, seemed to had a lot of stutters on my system that I normally don’t have in similar settings with other addons at the same load, but to be checked out further.

How is it compared to FBW? Still downloading the new beta, 2 Mbps as usual 😕

I think FBW gets the colours of the displays, fonts etc much better. Functionality wise for a standard A to B flight it’s decent. I haven’t done in-depth or failure etc obviously, as I don’t think that’s the purpose of it

My nav page had the wrong ILS frequency for the runway I had selected for arrival. Not sure if I did something wrong, does the neo auto input in real life or was that just a FBW thing

I have to sleep now so I’ll do more testing tomorrow

Sounds and model are great. Couldn't import full simbrief flightplan into the FMC, though. I appreciate that it begins to taxi with zero thrust (I assume this is realistic), the ground behaviour in general is nice.

That's a typical inibuild thing, i see this aswell in there A310 still, thats why i not using this plane often and they did not update this performance issues until yet to the A310, to bad !

So i think this is the same thing for this A320 and for everything that inibuild does, they should undergo the coding at all of the products they do IMO..

cheers 😉

Thanks. So this is a decent A320 for XBox users but brings nothing to PC users, while serious bugs such as the Bing tile swapping and the airport texture bleed in DX12 (still in beta after 2.5 years), are still there untouched. Quite disappointing 😞

I cannot use the EFB. Can't click on it anywhere

It does auto input in real life, too. Even the CEO does. Probably some sort of bug in the connection of the plane to the navdata base.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

So I'm gonna say EFB takeoff perf calculations (if they are based on real life data... which is apparently top secret) are very nice and an advantage on the FBW. Apart from that I'd need a significantly more beautiful cockpit (more like the Fenix) or more systems than the FBW to even think about using the Inibuilds NEO instead of the FBW.

Tried it, didn't like it, back to Fenix.

A good start, cockpit and sounds are nice.

Surprisingly good I would say. I also like the EFB and its functionality.

But regarding the AP and the FBW functions, it is not on par with FBW A320.
Fenix FBW is also not as good as the FBW A320 btw
But the iniBuilds AP is also a little bit on the rough side when I engage it or at T/D etc.

So, at a first glance, seems good. If it comes to details in all that functionality what an Airbus makes an Airbus, it lacks.
But MCDU says "Alpha" version, so things will surely improve.
