In MSFS, under DATA, you should have AI set to OFF, Real-Traffic OFF (you can leave it on, AIG will still work regardless, but not sure it's helpful). Start up a flight in MSFS, then start AIG Traffic injector, and voila. Others also use FSLTL injector even with AIG's superb models.
November 20, 20232 yr the only aircraft FSLTL won’t inject from AIG is the 747 family as they’re still in MDLX format. Once the 747s are updated to the MSFS model format they will be injected. No ETA on the conversion yet. Edited November 20, 20232 yr by Tuskin38

November 20, 20232 yr Never had an issue with AIG but in the end I had to delete it due to disk space reasons and moved over to FSLTL. FSLTL can cause performace issues sometimes so adding AIG on top of it my kill my current sweetspot. November 20, 20232 yr I still find the AIG use (fallback) in FSLTL very limited, there are models from AIG I never see when using FSLTL. But THE most important aspect for me to prefer AIG: it is not live but FP based. Means I get realistic traffic even if I do not fly live, which is almost always the case. November 20, 20232 yr FSLTL is the easiest to install, looks and sounds great, and is trouble free. Hard to beat.

Correct, but if you are based in Europe and you want to perform a nice evening (local time) flight e.g. out of Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney or whatever is completely off your time zone, you end up with nothing using FSLTL, because there is not much traffic at 3 am local time of your departure. November 20, 20232 yr I’ve found when FSLTL injects traffic, it causes stutters. So far with AIG, I don’t have that anymore. More testing to go.

November 20, 20232 yr Looks like the latest (and the previous one) version of AIG Traffic Controller has lost the ability to change traffic density on the fly. Before I changed density slider, delete traffic and re-inject again. With these two last versions I have to change density slider then close completely Traffic Controller and relaunch it again. 🤷🏻♂️
