Looks like the latest (and the previous one) version of AIG Traffic Controller has lost the ability to change traffic density on the fly.

Same here. The buttons are there but relaunch required. At least you can keep the sim open while you do it but AIG can take a while to launch

How are the sounds now in AIG?  FSLTL uses some custom sounds which are pretty good.  Does AIG use default or custom?

I find the ones from FSLTL to be far too loud and ott. I can be on the other side of the airport over a mile away and the traffic sounds like its right beside me.

The sounds sounded ok to me when I was testing today.
Anyone any ideas when I installed it, Asia and South America was greyed out? Underneath global .

But planes will still show up in those parts of the world?

Agreed, wonderful sounds that need a few notches less volume.

question from a noob: I am looking for a tool that inserts AI traffic mostly at smaller general aviation airports, like KFHR, KORS, KACK etc and mostly GA airplanes. I don't care for real flight plans. is this AIG the right thing for me? I would like to see more variety than just default MSFS airplanes. what's your recommendation?

Yes absolutely, if you have carriers within those regions they will show up in the sim.

AIG is scheduled airlines (and some corporate fleets too), so unless the airports you like have airline service (or scheduled cargo feeders), AIG won't do anything there.

However, AIG has said they're working on a system that'll add GA aircraft to smaller airports, but there's no timeline for when it'll be out.

There's a couple of other add-ons (freeware and payware) that add more GA traffic, so those are probably more what you're looking for.

It‘s been for months that the -800 had a new PBR model, I think.

Those were just the FAIB Airbuses, 737, and 767's. The 747's are ALL still old MDL files.

internal tests have started, but we have to add some stuff to internal tools allowing our guys to create such flightplans in "mass-production" 😉
