February 11, 20242 yr Hey Reset XPDR! Back from two weeks vacation (I know "word not allowed" to be me). Can't believe all of the amazing progress you've made in the last two weeks. First thing I did when I got back, was delete all of my old files and install a fresh version of 3.7 Got the iniBuilds A300 out of the hanger and took off from KJFK with FSLTL traffic running in the background. I used your settings with a couple of tweaks. Maintained a very smooth 30-35 FPS from takeoff, a lap around Central Park and back to KJFK. Landed and taxied to the gate. Only time the clouds switched from Ultra to High was when I was docking at the gate. Overall stutter free. Tried both Direct X11 and 12. Honestly not sure I noticed a difference. Just for a reminder, running a PC with a 3090 card. Latest version obviously worked awesome for me. If this was a product in the SimMarket, I'd buy it. Said it before, but thanks again for this amazing mod and your hard work.

A couple more suggestions: Check the file's permissions look like this for your username ie. full access: Check whether your AV software is blocking the app and, if so, set an exception for the bin directory. Run the installer as is, ie. not in administrator mode. Run the installer in administrator mode. Make sure you don't have duplicate versions of MobiFlight installed in community and official folders Uninstall MobiFlight and let this app's installer reinstall it. Temporarily clear your community folder and try again. Also, what CPU do you have? You only lose your settings if you uninstall the app, because it deletes the install directory, or have switched over from DynamicLOD to DynamicLOD_ResetEdition, because it installs in a different folder to differentiate from the original DynamicLOD. For the former situation, if you are upgrading DynamicLOD_ResetEdition versions just run the installer and install over the top. Your settings will be retained. I have been doing this with my development install, even going back and forth between versions many times and I haven't lost my config file yet. The github readme has been updated to clearly state this. For the latter, you can manually copy your config file from your old DynamicLOD root directory over to the new DynamicLOD_ResetEdition root directory (not the bin directory!) by overwriting the installed config file, and it should take your existing config file and populate with the new settings. If something goes wrong doing that, just delete the config file in the DynamicLOD_ResetEdition root directory (again not the bin directory) and a new config file will be made when you start the app again. Edit: Re fast and furious changes, that has mainly been happening with test versions, which are entirely voluntary, and I am now finished up on the main features I wanted to implement, so the pace of change will now reduce dramatically. Looking more closely at the log, it was only the first run of the app you did where MobiSimConnect failed, whereas all other times it was when trying to read from the very first MSFS memory address. This suggests to me you are running either this app or MSFS in administrator mode, causing a permission restriction, or your AV/AM program is stopping this app accessing MSFS running memory. If the former, run everything at your user level (ie. not administrator).
