Yes, I have been using TAA with the mod since I posted this thread with no issues.

Thanks for that. I shall have to investigate further.

  • Really? It's night and day difference. I'm testing the mod right now, on my "old" 3090, and I get a steady 60 fps, with PMDG 737-800, parked at FSDT KORD, at 5120x1440 32:9, I barely hit 40 befor

  • I'm testing this right now and my mind is blown.  I now understand why all the hype about FG.  3080ti, 4K, mostly high/ultra settings and have been pegged at 60FPS on first test flight in the Fenix.

  • I was one of the people who basically ordered an RTX 4000 series card only because of Frame Generation. And FG is really impressive.  Now I'm glad everyone gets to participate in that experience.

No issues here either, Paul.

Version 9 still requires me to do the registry thing. Am I missing something?

Thanks for letting me know 👍. The TAA frame rates seem to have sorted themselves out, but tearing is an issue when I head-track to the left (head tracking to the right is fine - must be some computery logic to that). Tweaking still to be done, but I must say the increase in frame rates has been remarkable.

EDIT: Tearing pretty much resolved. This mod is a must-try for anyone with an RTX card, especially now that there's no reg edit. I'm definitely keeping it installed.

Version 8 is working flawlessly for me. Hesitant to update to version 9. I’m not a fan of updating for the sake of updating unless there is a worthwhile reason to do so. Anyone regret going to the latest or glad they did?

How does it require you? Just don’t do it and only replace the two dll files

Have you got an older version installed that did require the registry edit ?

Tried 0.9 and what I did was just having the two files put in the same folder of MSFS EXE file (installation folder). I turned off the in sim vsync and turn on through Nvidia Panel. Go to the sim, apply DX12 Beta, turn on Fgen, close the sim, and re start.

Voila, the fps is still in the same region as DX11 (based on developer mode FPS counter),

i7 12th gen, RTX 3050 here.

Any thoughts?

Developer mode FPS counter won't show anything! If you are using the Steam version MSFS,b open the Steam FPS counter, it'll show the boosted FPSes!

If you're not, I don't know..🥴

typed in the windows search and found my Flight simulator.exe and then tried to copy the files over but get that the disk is write protected.

Any ideas guys, my flight simulator.exe is located in the windows apps folder which will not let me copy anything to it..

I did have, but I undid the registry hack and removed the files before I installed v9.

V9 is working perfectly but I still had to do the registry hack as per the instructions in the v9  readme file.

Thank you...although now a bit hesitant to move my install as users have reported having to delete and reinstall a lot of their stuff.

I can understand that hesitation. My understanding is that the sim should have moved itself during one of the updates, but for a lot of people it did not.
