No worries, although you did uncover an array boundary issue that I am still trying to find and fix so that was helpful too.

A new release candidate test version 0.4.3.0-RC3 is available here. A few minor bug fixes, some tweaking of TLOD Base + with Auto TLOD, and enhancements to the log file to make it easier for me to identify settings changes.

Although there have been 3 RCs released to date, no show stoppers have come up in them (except maybe the array index out of bound issue that I can't reproduce but I have now put extra boundary protection in the code just in case) and it is mostly just me fine tuning features that I use but most users probably won't even use. As such, if nothing major comes up with RC3, I plan on formally releasing it as 0.4.3.0 this time tomorrow. Please let me know if you do uncover anything major.

Changes since v0.4.3.0-RC2:

• Fixed issue where TLOD Min + could be active when Auto Target FPS was enabled in non-expert mode.
• Fixed possible issue where an array in LOD Controller module could potentially be indexed out of bounds.
• Changed TLOD Base + to delay the recovery of lost TLOD on takeoff until Alt TLOD Top in lieu of Alt TLOD Base to allow a greater chance that the recovery will stick due to likely better performance condtions up higher.
• Changed the saving of TLOD Base + on takeoff to only occur if the TLOD Base + amount is greater than 0 because it is not necessary.
• Changed the recovery of TLOD Base + of TLOD lost on takeoff to have a lower activation deltaFPS trigger to allow for minor FPS dips as TLOD Min + is restored.
• Added additional log entries to show which specific setting has been changed to make reading log file events easier.
• Removed TLOD Min + state duplication entry in log file.

I will certainly give it a try, but I have to admit that right now I'm a little intimidated by the extra features. I also need to purchase LS. I've read that I can get some increased fps in NYC with AI Traffic enabled. I can't thank you enough @Reset XPDR for your ap. One of the most essential aps for MSFS 2020.

Do you think that we will need this ap for MSFS 2024?

@Reset XPDR congratulations on the formal release 🎉 This new version includes a ton of new features and improvements that will be invaluable for the next few months until 2024 drops. 

I do not use any off that apps, i use my 4090 with Framegeneration on, Vsync to 30 FPS ( 60 Hz Monitor ) so i get 60 Fps and i am a HAPPY Camper, realy can not understand the point of trying out such progis for hours and then realizing that not everything is 100% perfect, I'd rather use the time to fly. 🥳

But to say i am not realy fly the small AC's and for flying the Airliners this seems not realy nessesary.

Just my point of view ☺

You don't have to use any of the new features and the improved features will simply just be better, so please don't be intimidated by this update.

Re the need for this app in MSFS 2024, no one really knows yet but if it doesn't cover the essential bits of this app I will be taking a look at it.

Fair enough. For most that don't want to tweak, you can simply install it, run it in non-expert mode, pick a target FPS and sit back and let it improve your experience. And if it doesn't after a few flights, simply uninstall it. I offer a full refund as well! What more can you ask for? 😁

Your case with a capped FPS means you need to use the expert settings. I am happy to give you a settings config to try out which will improve your scenery draw distance up high.

By the way does it work with DX12 because i would like to hold DX12 in my Sim..

Thanks for all of your dedication and hard work on AutoFPS Reset!  Although I have a lesser graphics card than you, I would be interested in that config file if you don't mind sending it my way.

Yes, it works with DX12.  That's what I am currently running with when I use AutoFPS.
