In my video I point out, what looks like some VDGS displays floating around some of the gates, I thought it may be some issue at my end with textures not loading, but hey, I've just taken another look, and the anomoly is still present and at many gates. I think an email to MK is in hand.

Thanks a lot for this! Decided to take the leap and bought it. Overall, I'm happy with it. But, like you mention in your video, I don't understand why some developers cannot manage a proper jetway connection:

Oh, and it seems that the Catalans are more advanced than the rest of the world, as they can make objects float in thin air:

IMO the product is better than the LatinVFR version (which was quite outdated anyway), but not up to the same standard as the best sceneries from Pyreegue, iniBuilds, FlyTampa.

Btw I'm using the LatinVFR GSX profile found in iniManager.

So apart from MK Studios VS Simwings - what do they do better than the LatinVFR version? Is it worth buying one of the new ones, if I have the LatinVFR version?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

After having checked them all I will stay with the LVFR version. Before them I used the Justsim version.

Newer releases do not always mean better looking and better performance.

In real life airports do not change dramatically in 3-4 years.

I did not see that gate problem at all. I think you should not use the LFVR GSX file, until a correct file for this version comes along. For now, just rely on default GSX and make sure you exclude LEBL in the GSX config.

Yeah, you might be right. I'll try another departure from LEBL with no profile. Funny thing though is that @Rocky_53 had the exact same observation in his overview. Maybe he was also using the LVFR profile?

I remembered to exclude it, although I often forget.

Looks like a GSX profile floating around with those 😉

Ah, that is a possibility. I've just departed from LEBL on my way to Orly. Thanks for the suggestion, seems odd to think that GSX profiles would affect the VDGS. However, once I've landed I'll check this out. Cheers.

Looking good on the MK Studio's version of LEBL except for the low-resolution ground, the VDGS (may need a new profile) and the jetway misalignment otherwise a great product at a great price. Thanks Rocky for the video!

Your welcome Darryl. I'm surprised yoy mention low resolution ground textures though, as that was one aspect of the scenery that I thought was great! Or are you talking about the grass photo imagery between the runways and taxiways?

I agree, they look crips and hi-res. I'm going to revisit the airport shortly without the LVFR profile. Just have to figure out where to take the A300. Perhaps I'll race Howard to Orly! 🙂

You'll have to get a move on, I'm just approaching TOD

Well, you did get a head start!

Finally at the gate, no GSX profile and things seem sorted. Jetway connection is far better, and there's no magical floating VDGS.
