May 23, 20242 yr It has improved a lot since the November-December beta. Still some odd issues though, like the TOD on the PERF page doesn’t like to update unless you switch to FPLN page and back. I reported this on the beta forums a while back Edited May 23, 20242 yr by Tuskin38

If they can't figure it out, may they should try to hire someone who can ! It‘s less about ability than will. They have stuffed their plate with the A350 (and apparently an A380) to be released in a couple of months, they clearly want to focus on a new aircraft. I doubt they will do anything to improve the Asobo-owned A310 or A320neo. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

May 24, 20242 yr Jorg has said on a recent livestream that continued improvements and updates will be coming for these aircraft, and others. They've got a track record of continued updates (albeit slowly), so I don't doubt they'll support updates to this in future too. I tried it out for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the fidelity. It's a definite step up from the original default A320, and also ahead of where I expected it to be. I'd certainly rather fly this plane over the CRJ that I sank good money into.

Aerosoft are now on my 'do not buy' list anyway after too many bad experiences. Whatever happened to their A340 anyway? Seems to have gone a bit quiet since MK left. May 24, 20242 yr The engine nacelles are very detailed, including a spinning turbine in the engine core exhaust, 3D-modeled inlet guide vanes and a few other great details. The avionics cooling seems to be proper modeled and simulated too, looks like I have to test out this beast how it compares to the great old V1 Fenix (before it died by having made it fully modding-incompatible). I am especially curious how well the MCDU is simulated - are custom waypoints possible with Google Map coordinates, is METAR report finally possible, is there a load-sheet after the cargo rooms are fully loaded, and many other details. I think METAR is available again, after filling in a METAR token for the GNS750 I can get regular METAR services. And clever solution using some kind of digital weather radar with auto-tilt to circumvent the fact that only a very basic weather radar simulation is available (which I hope will change in FS2024.)
May 24, 20242 yr Having flown this thing for a lot of the beta, I love it. Find it comparable to the FBW, but a bit better, as it has full RNAV support and go-arounds. The only issue I have with the ini Neo is the T/D ETA fluctuates all the time. On the FBW/Fenix once I hit cruise, the T/D will basically stay the same the entire flight maybe only changing by a couple minutes. The INI Neo’s T/D once hitting cruise can sometimes fluctuate by up to 10 minutes 9 hours ago, CapnOz said: TERR INOP on a modern airliner....but a fully detailed cabin. priorities are a bit backwards mates The devs said they didn’t include the terrain radar because it was causing performance issues. Since the NeoV2 is a default aircraft, they probably had stricter performance benchmarks to hit. Also the devs building the cabin would would likely not be the same devs working on implementing terrain radar, that’s two completely different skill sets. Edited May 24, 20242 yr by Tuskin38

They’ll be adding new engine variant to the A320 sometime in the future according to the last Dev live stream. But imagine with all the focus on 2024, that won’t be until after launch. There were also bug fixes for the A310 included with SU15. Edited May 24, 20242 yr by Tuskin38
