Where are You Going?

Featured Replies

I thought that it would be interresting to hear the top 3 airports that everyone is flying into recently.  List the dev if you want to.

Currenty for me:

1) PAKT Ketchikan AK - Northern Sky Studios

2) CYEG Edmonton  AB  - FSimStudios

3)  KAVX Catalina CA - ORBX

Good Luck

What do you mean by the top 3?  Best? Most frequented? Most recent arrivals/departures?

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

I am currently flying a tour along all the addon airports in the USA. I noticed that I had purchased quite a few addons I had not visited yet. I recently visited KMVY (Martha's Vinyard), which is a cute airport, great atmosphere. I flew from there to KSNC (Chester) which is a bit of a boring place. My next airport will be back to Martha's Vinyard but a different airport, Katama.

I am also touring Tasmania/Australia. YMHB (by NZA) is a very nicely done airport, Detailed and feels alive with animated people. I flew from there to Launceston (YMLT, and will go from there in a Piper Tomahawk to YBDG. Without GPS but I will probably cheat and use the autopilot part of the way.

Currently doing a stint with Caribbean Airlines doing stints in and out of Trinidad and Tobago. Wish there was some more scenery for these airports but default will have to do. Having flown in Europe for the past 700 hours or so, the caribbean felt like a nice change of pace. Currently doing really short hops in the F28 and longer ones in the MD82. Just finished up my schedule and got a new one going from Jamaica to the Bahamas. Should make for some nice shots. All of this through APL2

I rarely fly the same airports twice, even addons. Huge world, too many airports, so little time!

I always come back to the following though/

PAKT (All northern sky alaska tbh)

All northern sky Hawaiian islands

Biggin Hill(I live nearby so biased) and up and down the UK via Southampton, Caernarfon, London city, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Dundee and Sumburgh.

Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Nice-Nice in a Tiger Moth to check out the photogrammetry of Nice and Monaco.

I‘ve been flying a lot to Nice since the latest city update was released, from Barcelona, Switzerland or Corsica. The approach into runway 22R/L in particular is a lot of fun. From Nice to Corsica is great as well (Ajaccio, Calvi or Bastia), especially since the infamous texture swapping is gone. I‘ve also done some island hopping in the Aegean (Athens - Santorini and Samos).

Before the update I flew a lot in the UK and UK to/from Brussels and Amsterdam.
