ย Beauty may only be skin deep but it still SELLS. That's your explanation. If it needs a manual it's too complicated for most of their target audience. I don't mean that as an insult btw, people can be smart AND lazy.ย

A lot of the planes do come with manuals.

Also according to this Q&A more people are on PC than X-Box

Seeing how popular Captain Sim, Bredok, LatinVFR are on the Marketplace (just look at the number of review scores they have), Ctrl+E level of detail is plenty for thousands of flight simmers.

I sure didn't want a Fenix level of complexity when I started flight simming.ย In fact, even now, the Heatblur/IndiaFoxtEcho F-14 is too complex for how often I would actually use it.

On other aircraft seen in first MSFS 2024 trailer not already disclosed as to who'sย developing them: Cessna 188 is from Ceranado, air crane is from Blackbird, others from Asobo, I didn't catch the whole list

Asobo - CL-415, H125, C208
Carendo - Cessna 188 AGtruck
Blackbird - Erickson S-64 Aircrane
DC Designs - A-10 Thunderbolt II

Jorg claims they caught up with all the aircraft in the 2023 trailer, but I don't believe they've said who's making the airship.

ย

Another thing mentioned for 2024 is that warning pop ups, like losing connection to the server won't be in the middle of the screen anymore.

So Jorg had this hilarious moment at the end that is potentially very telling. He says, "I'm seeing all the amazing things that are coming in about Flight Sim 2024....it's gonna kick @ss, you guys. Like, it really is". At that moment, Martial points out that this is why Jorg is wearing white, to which Jorg agrees by saying, "I'm wearing white! Anybody noticed I'm wearng white? 'Cause I'm like take that black shirt and.....anyway...."

Speculation time! Obviously he's very excited about how MSFS 2024 is shaping up. It seems the new sim's primary background colour for the logo might be white, as represented by the white T-shirt. The black T-shirt which represents 2020 is now something he wants to throw away, indicating how much inferior 2020 is to 2024.

Top Rated Aircrafts sale happening from june 9th(๐Ÿ˜‰) to june 16th.ย

June 9 that is today and I see no such sale in the marketplace. Only cheap planes seem on sale

I suspect that will come after the X-Box presentation in a few hours.ย

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Len's breakdown of the Q&A suggested that it would be top rated addons and aircraft, so I am hoping that this includes a lot of airports. I am not interested in any planes apart from the PMDG 777F/LR and the Avro RJ70, which have yet to be released.
