It would be for national security reasons. Nothing new. I’m sure there were public maps of the USA in the 60s with some things removed they didn’t want spies to see

There was a point early in Google map’s history where those two buildings to the east and west of the White House were blurred out, but they stopped doing that a while ago.

While I agree with you on the above, I will also say that in my view, in 1963 they would have cut out certain parts of the photos just like they probably did today.   In fact back then they probably would have removed MORE, Cold War and all that.

Sure, and you are certainly correct concerning cold war practices. My observation and words are more centered on our nation and people in general and less about maps and photos.

Everything about the main thread limitation makes perfect sense to me (not a programmer though). However, do we think we will see less limitations with the mainthread in MSFS2024? Or will it be the same?

I wonder a) if the 737 will be part of the highest-rated sale, and b) if they will match the price on the site.

My guess is no to both.

Nice Q&A as always. But based on what they said concerning weather, I now doubt there will be a huge overhaul in MSFS 2024.

 Beauty may only be skin deep but it still SELLS. That's your explanation. If it needs a manual it's too complicated for most of their target audience. I don't mean that as an insult btw, people can be smart AND lazy.
