June 6, 20241 yr Does FBW still have plans to move forward with the A320 or is there no longer interest with the arrival of the Airbus V2?

As far as i am aware progress continues. It's likely at a state where progress is not only time consuming ,and more complicated. June 6, 20241 yr These guys have real world jobs and don't get paid for this project other than donations. Work is slow I would think they will progress when they get the chance. Edited June 6, 20241 yr by JBDB-MD80

We've reached a point where major changes are some of the most time consuming. For example we're nearing release of cFMS v2. A rewrite of the FMS that works in the exact way it's real counterpart does, from a fundamental level. However this has gone through quite literally, months of QA and regression testing to ensure users don't lose anything when we decide to release it. That's just one example but most of the stuff worked on is in that same line of thinking, things of getting more complex and reaching a deeper level of simulation and thus results in a much longer development time.
June 6, 20241 yr I am very happy with the FBW. I flew the Aerosott Airbuses in P3D. I find that FBW has passed them in most features (still some coming). That was payware! I appreciate the work that the FBW team continues to turn out. Patience is a virtue
June 6, 20241 yr And by far the best in term of performance impact. I now leave the Fenix in hangar and fly the FBW which has made impressive progresses.(dev version) Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites

June 6, 20241 yr Have they ever expressed interest in doing the 321NEO? Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

Not expensive to get all the different frames. I bought A319, and the 321. I like both. I don't know the financial relationship with FBW, but I am sure there is some profit sharing going on.

Perhaps you mean Horizon Simulations? FBW is based on solely freeware developers in their spare time for no profit motive.
